$25 Blackjack site header contest

I need a header for my new blackjack site. I need the graphic to be no larger than 300 wide.

I'd like to see a colorful graphic with a 2 cards making a blackjack, some chips, and whatever else may be attractive on the graphic. Please use one of the background colors from the site. The domain name is

B l a c k J a c k P o i n t e r s . c o m (remove the spaces) Maybe shiny gold lettering?

$25 prize money paid via Paypal.

I'd like to wrap this up by 12:00, noon central time on Wed. Feb, 15.

I will probably choose a winner before then.

Hi Patrick,

I really like this design, but it wont fit on my site. What I mean is, if you were to try to add this graphic, on top of my current layout, it wouldn't fit anything on the site.

I like the Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, and Hearts.

I like the red, black, gold and the green. I like the chips and the dice. I would probably choose the Jack of Spades instead of King of Hearts.

I like the fonts also.

Please try again and try pasting your graphic on my site to make sure that the design is matches the site.

I installed flash AGAIN!!! Windows won't assiciate the swf with Flash. I need to get this fixed on my machine.

I am not trying to ignore you. I just got here. I tried to view your file earlier today and could not open it then either.

My first reaction is that the words are backwards. I see "Pointers Blackjack" and not "Blackjack Pointers".

How about using the Ace and Jack of Spades?

Can we try a more colorful poker chip? Or maybe colorful stacks of chips?

White dice would work better on the red background.

One of the other entries used an "Old West" kind of font that was nice. You might outline the lettering with black to make it stand out.

Hi, the reason I made the Pointers above the BlackJack is because the blackjack is bigger and bolder, and therefore it is the first thing the viewer sees according to the 1-2-3 principle in design.

The reason the chips are green is because this works well to fit into your present layout. The reason the dice are red is because they are over white cards, and again, they work for your layout.

I did use a Jack of Spades but I guess it is hard to see that from the coin so I'll just reverse the card so the J can be seen.

The black outline migth not work that well because it would deduce from the Gold lettering.

Another reason why the chips are one colour is because if any more is added to this, it would become WAY too busy. That is why the majority of this design follows certain colours. It is hard to design exactly what you're asking because from a designers point of view it would look very cluttered due to all the colours and the different objects.

I'll try and make some different ones, and a few made from exactly what you want so you can see.
