247 Domains: Worth Regging?

I would say 247 only works for well commercialised sites or brand names, not for serious ones. phones4u can get away with a name like it, because it's advertised everywhere. searchengine247 would suck, nobody would want it.

It depends. I own nonstop247.com and to me, it sounds like a great domain for non-stop radio station. It is also pronouncable. Domains value really depends on how you promote them. Have a look at the FM station domains. They are mostly with numbers. Same for tv channel domains.
