20k Unique Hits a day. What do I do?

Some time ago, I was able to purchase a domain name that recieves a tremendious amount of daily type in traffic. I do absolutley no advertising. It recieves anywhere from 15-30 THOUSAND unique visitors a DAY. I don't want to divuldge the name - but the name may be the problem. It is a very specific name, but there are no clear money making avenues. Example:I imagine america.com gets a lot of traffic, but that doesn't mean there are any clear, specific, OBVIOUS money making avenues. I have it parked right now and I get about 1000 click throughs a day, it makes some ok money (for doing nothing), but I feel like it's going to waste. Any ideas on the easiest way to monetise my traffic. A gambling site? (don't want to do porn).

Gambling site might work pretty well but I personally think it should be able to match your domain name. IMO.

You might try having it redirect to Amazon.com through an "associate" (Affiliate) link. It's generally "loved" by all, and caters to a WIDE variety of folk.
Also maybe try applying to Fab 4.0 with it, and see what they can do (If you haven't already).

pop under, make a small site only a few pages, with pop unders. They can pay up to $7 per thousand views. $7 times 15 (for 15,000 views). Thats $105 a day, $3150 a month, $37,800 a year. Good luck, please PM me the name, I am really intrigued

where I have it parked, I get 1000 click throughs a day, (anywhere from .25 cents to $1.25 a click) but with as many as 30k uniques a day (without doing one ounce of advertising) I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of potential revenue I jsut don't know from where. I don't know about Amazon though, I personally hate those sites.

1000 clickthroughs out of 20K is about 5%, which is a decent rate. $.25 to $1.25 CPC are likewise very good numbers. Overall CPM is $37.50 - a totally excellent amount. I don't think you can expect much more than these, to be honest.

Pop-unders are a must. Will get good money with pop-ups. Join to join CJ or any of those other affiliate programs. With a site like that, you can be sure to get a great deal.

Forward it to my website? LOL. nah. i think you should turn it into a forum to keep people comeing back. If you keep it parked for too long, it will start to loose traffic. Get clicksor or something and turn it into a forum with a FEW ads (not to many though).

Maybe you should try a travel affiliate site. I have one, and w/o advertising, it makes 25-50 $ a day. Good Luck
