[2020] Black Friday & Cyber Monday Promos

Every year we wait for this Friday (check my 2019 thread) and this "sacred" Monday to save on their favorite domains. This year is no exception. From this day starts the last 5 and 7 days before the start of one of the biggest holidays "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday" for domainers.

In this post, I suggest discussing and posting links to upcoming promotions. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are just 5 and 7 days away and I'm sure we're all ready to make the most of the amazing deals online.

Simple rules:

1. No refferal links
   
2. No politics, no questions about promos (all information about promos you can find on registrar website)
3. No discuss about registrars and promos, we have on NP a special threads for this (General Domain Discuss)
   
4. Only promos, no links to sites that DO not belong to the promo (similar to aggregators)
5. Publish links with a short description about promo (registrar name, domains, pricing, format (like a reg./renew/transfer), etc.) offered by the registrar (for simple search)

This year has been difficult for each of us in its own way. Therefore, I would like us to unite as a community and help those who want to start their domainer history here without any conflicts, discussions, and so on. Help each other and post links to upcoming promos.

• You can purchase up to 5 of the domains on offer using the same promotion code, in up to 5 separate transactions.
• in all cases discounts are valid for the first year only (except .AI which must be registered for 2 a year minimum). All domains renew at their regular prices
  
• You can transfer up to 50 of the domains on offer using the same promotion code, in up to 50 separate transactions.
• If your domain expired with your previous registrar, and you’ve reactivated it (renewed after expiration) with them, please do not transfer it within 45 days of the previous expiration date. If you do this, your registrar will revoke the renewal you bought. .co is now $0.99 at Godaddy. I'm very happy that I registered 30-something .co domains at Epik for $1.99 yesterday, because when I checked expireddomains.net a few minutes ago, all the decent, recently expired names were gone :D

yeah... it got to the point where most including Me do not even bother effort and time wise to reg co even for 1$... cause there is nothing left...

I mean 1000s domainers regging co ..there is only so many domains worth having... and I think we crossed this number... I never thought I'd be not regging co at 1$... but things just got this bad...

Make sure not to add any free packages. They will charge you in full if you don't start using it within 3 months. You can pick the option registration only in your cart.

You must have at least 5 domains in your cart in order to get the discount (you can get 5 registrations + 5 transfers for $5.99/each). Similar interface to Godaddy. Use promocode FXDEAL599. This black friday deal is supposed to end today (only noticed it half an hour ago) so if you want to take advantage- be quick about it.

That's true, but I have mixed feelings towards domain.com. A couple of years earlier I registered lots of .coms there, and it wasn't a pleasant experience

I just saw that Nominalia (https://www.nominalia.com/?lang=en) is having a Black Friday promo. They're offering 3 .com/.net/.info/.org/.es registrations for 1 Euro per domain and up to 20 transfers for .com/.net/.eu/.org for 4.90 Euros per domain. These offers are supposed to be only for Europian Union clients.

I live in the US and bought dozens of domains there in the past during similar promos despite the EU stipulation. I haven't had problems so far, but be aware that you might not get the promo price or have issues at some point if you're not located in the EU. You'd better not take chances with domains you value using these offers, but besides that it seems like a pretty good deal.

Edit: The 1 Euro registration price is for 3 domains from each extension. I made a mistake earlier.

Has .com registration at $6.99, .me at $1.99, .us at $2.29, .co at $2.29, .shop at $1.39 (note they have shop also listed slightly higher, I think because ongoing promotion prior as well). They have a variety of other TLDs at $0.99 and up. The .art deal seems good should you be in that niche.

PS By the way, if you are enrolled in their free discount program, on registrations you get an additional $0.10 off even these discounted prices. I just registered two and found that. For their free discount program you need to refund your account by $50 (and by at least that in subsequent top ups). Tiny savings can add up.

Our only chance in these .co-loving days is to check the names daily when no promo is active, add the desired names to a list (or more, maybe one list for a $2-$3 promo, another list with crappier names for a $1 promo), set an email alert on tld-list.com, and then wait for the opportunity

Namecheap have .net and .org registration at $5.98 using their coupon (+$0.18) but you are restricted to 5 domains in total across different TLDs.

I believe Porkbun still allow you up to 3 total at $4.90 each, but only if you have not used the promotion in the past for domain names. Like if you regged 2 at the .net discount in January, they would allow 1 more. Or that is how it seems to work for me.

Dynadot have .net at $5.99.

There may be other options, but those are the ones I know.
