domain 2 pretty good domains, what do you think?

I have a couple of domains for appraisal here. First is a misspelling.

seperate.org

I know for a mispelling a .org is not very valuable. But this word is mispelled a lot. The exact word gets searched like 70 times a day and google has about 2 mil results for seperate. For what its worth estibot appraises it at $540 and I noticed the .us version is for sale for $2000 and I am sure the .org is more valuable.

The next one.

salesofficer.com

This is a weird one. I know sales officer is a position within a company. It more commanly seems to come up as chief sales officer. But still seems pretty common. It doesnt really get searched exactly but has pretty descent google results. Over 5 mil without quotes and about 230,000 with quotes. Which honestly is pretty good. And once again for what its worth estibot gives it a $690.

Please if anyone can tell me the value of these 2 domains in their eyes that would be great!

not much potential for domain reseller
estimated resale value for salesofficer dot com mid $XX

seperate.org
many extensions are taken..plus
17 million results in Google..plus
very common misspell..adds to value
.org pressures value though

To a domain reseller, I estimate low $XXX

although i think SalesOfficer is a great name, it can be a good sales & marketing site. Though a bit generalized, but the name is very memorable. I would say low-mid xxx with a minisite for salesofficer (com)

What direction do you think I should go with a site called salesofficer. If I was to design a mini site, which direction should I go?

Well i can tell you what direction i would like to go with it.

You know Sales & Marketing Guys who work on incentive basis in companies?
They are mostly free lancers getting a mimnimum payout and 90% of their earnings depend on the sales they create.

You can have a sales & marketing info portal where you could talk about various aspects of sales and different niches like teelcom / financials / product branding etc. I think if you can have good info on the site, getting a sales forum up an drunning wont be a problem. Get traffic and then get adverts / subscriptions. Its a very raw idea, but u can build on it.

I'm not saying do all of the above, depict it on ur minisite and sell the idea along with the website. Also try to find a local buyer so u can actually project the idea more clearly.

Great ideas Krossat! I think I will run with this one for a while. I like the idea you have though, I could have like a police officer as my logo.... Haha could have some fun with this one. Alright will do, any more opinions on value?
