I just regged freezipfiles.com normally I wouldnt have got it, but it is a .com and the term free zip files does get searched pretty frequently. Google results are pretty good. let me know what you guys think!

You are right that google is showing reasonable search volume. On a scale of 0-1, I would say that google search volume is about 0.35 or so, which is better than some I have bought... That is enough to think you might get an occasional hit through the search engines as they rotate the names in the listings. One thought is that with this search volume, you might try parking it at Fabulous. It takes a minimum of 100 or so good names with natural traffic to get a Fabulous account... and they are very picky, basically they want your names to create revenue for them and you!

The adword competition is zero on google for the exact phrase (free zip files), but 0.6 for adword competition for "free zip"... So overall good search volume (0.35) for the exact phrase, and strong ad support for the category (0.6). I think it is a good find... and given the chance, I would have bought it.

When you say 100 names for a fabulous account, you mean 100 domains getting traffic, right? If that is the case i definitely dont have an army like that yet... Lol. But I am definitely gonna park this one for a while to see how it does.

Yes, although I know of people that opened an account with 50 domains. I suppose they would open an account with one *really* good domain that gets natural traffic. What they probably don't want is 50-100 domains (total) that are not getting any natural traffic. Now I have at least 100 domains parked at Fab that are not getting much traffic (in some cases none), but they are in the same account with others that get good traffic.
