2 domains renewed by owner after I won an expiring auction

Hello everyone,

I won 2 expiring domain auctions on Dynadot, and I spent days and nights watching them waiting till the end of the auction. I won the auction and processed the payment, and then in 2 days they sent me this.

" ORDER CANCELLED , OWNER RENEWED DOMAIN "



This is complete nonsense. Why do they put domains into auction when the owner can still renew the domain. Even If he can, it shouldn't be after the auction is over.

Same problem with other registrars...

Why do you think the registrars get away with selling other people's property ?
Because they make sure the current domain holder will benefit from a 'claw back' period at least equal to a 'normal' grace/redemption period.

Mmmm...then it is their pbligation to disclose that former registrants have a grace period after the grace period. In short, full disclosure to ensure full transparency for potental auction bidders.

Godaddy Auctions same thing. They demand you pay within 3 days of auction. Then they hold onto your money for weeks after the original registrant renews.

These companies waste HOURS of my time and then have the nerve to old onto MY MONEY
