They might, if you find an end user. Most domain traders rarely pay more than $10 to $15 for domains, I find. You have to find an end user to get anything like $20+ for a domain.

and how do i find a "end user" :p

By posting an offer in the forum. You could always get someone who was looking for that name and then you have a deal.

wrong forum isn't it? I'd say reg fee myself, maybe you could get an "end user" by selling it on sedo etc.

No, it's the right forum. Appraisal forums are only to be used for domains you actually own last time I checked the rules.

As far as finding end users, there are about a bajillion threads here that cover just that topic. You ahve to go out and find them. Send letters and emails and make phone calls. When it's all said and done, using this method, many times you'll find it isn't worth your time unless you can sell for at least $200.00. If you spend 6 hours looking for buyers, contacting them, negotiating, and so on, and you only sell for $20.00, you might as well get a job at the local burger joint...they pay more than $3.33/ hour. And don't forget phone charges and even stamps. This all eats into your bottom line.

Just posting to domain forums and parking on domain aftermarkets like sedo isn't enough. Most end users do not come here or to the aftermarkets to buy domains. Therse sites are mainly visited by other traders who do not pay full retail for aftermarket domains. End users will usually find a domain that is available for reg fee and make due with that. It's the content that counts the most, within reason, of course. If I'm gonn a make a site to about shoes, sure, shoes.com would be great, but shoesite or allmyshoes or awesomeshoes, etc, will be just fine.

It may sound "cool" but it has no real commercial viability.

you could TM the name and make it a unique website. What if it was "ReAttached Records" for example, a producer/label company, the options are unlimited. It may not have any real commercial viability yet, but if you develop the term and brand it/develop it, it could turn out to be a really interesting project :imho:
