.tv 1st page on Google!

I know this may not be of any significance to most but it's a big deal for me! My sales website which I basically just threw together is listed on the first page on google when searching:- available tv domains......#10 of about 313,000. All I need now is buyers! Lol

Your site is actually #33 at the moment on Google UK. Not quite as good as on Google US but still not bad at all

Strange....when I search on Google.co.uk I get the same results as michaeldotcom.
On Google Canada it comes in at #12 and on my US Google search #10?

I agree it shows position #60 - 7th page.....I wonder if this is an overall average throughout the Google search engine world wide? This would at least explain the discrepancies.

See, different for all.

My opinion is that google is great, but they way they rank things based on geo location is kind of retarded.

I read somewhere that they do it because they want to provide relevant results based on lots of things, proximity being one of them.

Personally, I think that is both good and bad, and this is a good example of why.

Further more, I've seen position # changes more than 3 per day :o
One of my domain, cocoon.org with search term "cocoon" without quote...
It's showing on #3, #4, #6 and #8 depend on what time.
Mainly #4 and #6 going back and forth with wikipedia.

Lol...I just picked that particular domain because it was getting quite a bit of traffic from China. Seems like there is a budding market over there for .tv's so I thought I would give it a shot. Like I said in my original post if someone was looking for .tv's and typed in - available tv domains- in google my site was at least on the first page (well here it is). Therefore making it more likely that someone would look at it.
