Well, seems emails we must be having a problem with... Hmmm. will look at that as a matter of priority.

For the time being PM me with any 1plus support mails - apologies again for the lack of response but you can take my word that we are just not getting them

Badgar: It seems you guys are having a bunch of support issues. Why not throw a forum online and have other users try to help each other with issues.

-or-

Since it is a free service. Throw a wiki up. So, that the users can help with a FAQ and other documents that might be needed.

Badger,

You stated in another thread on this forum:

I believe you were referring to the traditional PPC parking service. What does that bode for the current, customizable 1Plus service?

no change

I have recently been moving more of my Domains to 1Plus because I am seeing better performance (traffic and clicks) than other traditional parking services, especially for newly regged domains with no prior traffic or type-ins. Will we be forced to convert our accounts at 1Plus, or will we have a choice?
Yes, the choice will always be yours

Also, if you are continuing the current service, are you planning any improvements (real stats, more customizations for non-news, more templates, etc.)?

We always had real stats, just when we added a MIVA feed (for UK traffic) the stats never tallied, so we had to disable them (for now). We will continue to develop, in fact were looking to add an auto article driven template real soon. Our focus currently however is the integration of an adsense parking skin. Theres also not a lot left to enable for customisation, you can pretty much do it all already. We are also focused on making our user admin easily readable. Lots to do, but no change to our regular schedule

When is "soon"?

Badger,

Thanks for the prompt and detailed response. It all sounds very promising and exciting. Thanks for all your hard work, and the motivation and drive to get it right!

Now for the hard question: When is "soon"? What time-frame: days, weeks, months, quarters, years, decades, centuries, or eons? :hehe:

Badger,

WOW!!! That is VERY encouraging. I wasn't trying to pin you down to specifics (I know how these development projects go - I have been working with computers over 40 years -yikes!-.), I was just looking for a general time-frame, but thanks again for the specifics.

I wish you and your team good luck in the projects, and the Domainer community looks forward to the fruits of your efforts.

We at 1plus are about to launch a similar service

Here's a thought...

How about a place on your site (or even here) where you regularly post updates at the same time each week? That way you could post a master list/timeline for the features and services that are in the works...and have ongoing updates for things that have been added, changed or not working, like getting the stats back and cleaning up the uk categories/templates (no music/mp3 listings, but three "laptops" under Internet).

You might even solicit brief descriptions for features people want and problems they are experiencing; then use the weekly post to clarify issues and discuss wish-list merits...or how to use features.

All of that material could then be sorted and edited to use in a nice FAQ.

Just a thought.
