1and1 billing problem

I went to 1and1 to change the dns becuase I changing my hosting. I found out I could not login my cpanel to make the changes. I contact 1and1 and told me I could not get into the cpanel. They told me to update my credit card infomation which I did. Then they told me that I have to pay a collection agency. So I went to pay the collection agency but he tells me I have to pay $18.94 and $5.99 and I thought that was a mistake. So I contact 1and1 and they tell me it a fee I have to pay. I said I rather pay 1and1 and not the collection agency. Plus the fee taken out. They would not take out the fee. What can I do I never gotten a email about it or mail at my house about it.

They are the worst. Numerous reports similar to yours here in this forum and many many many others. Also they never bother to respond there, they simply ignore their customers.

If you have an important domain there, pay and get out of there quick, very quick. Legal fees would be much more than that. Right after, tell everybody you can about it, maybe one day they bankrupt.

I heard there is a class action lawsuit bein prepared against them, not sure, maybe you could check.

Other than that, I can just wish you good luck.

BIG AGREE...I had a similar situation recently with them...I asked why ddidnt they contact me...they said we ONLY use email and if you didnt see that there's nothing they can do...I got into my account yesterday and have been transfering like mad :) Godaddy has improved their site and I love them at the moment...bye bye 1and1

Update - I payed the billed and contact them yesterday by email since billing department was close and told them I payed and gave them my order number. I called up today and they told me they saw that I payed for it would now have to wait 2-3 days.

Come on are they kidding me. I losing people coming to by website and sales I could of made.

Ooh seems they are getting better, when I had a dispute with them a few years ago they did not allow the transfer of my domain names until the expiry date which was a couple of months later.

they renewed some of my domains that i cancelled without giving me notice once i saw it on my account i told them imediately and they refused to give me a refund
