The new weekly domain sales Report is out at DNJournal.com. We got a change of pace this time out with something other than 3-letter .coms setting the pace on our latest domain sales chart. Oh, the LLL .coms were still there (two more reached the top ten) but, for the first time, multiple new gTLDs entered the conversation about chart topping domains. The top two – one a .club, the other a .flowers, also rank among the year’s five highest non .com gTLD sales. The ccTLDs also had a good outing with five charted sales. "Back in January it was reported that the .CLUB Registry had worked out a deal to sell Wine.club for $140,000, however the domain had remained in escrow ever since (most likely due to a payment plan being in effect)"

Wine.club "sold" at Namescon auction on 1/14/2015. Was the deal prearranged or was it actually sold at auction?

Is it standard policy to give an auction winner 5 months to pay? Seems pretty absurd to me.

I think heritage auctions gives several months to pay - it may have been mentioned on dnjournal as well because they reported many of their auctions sales a long time after the actual auction.
