Has a buyer ever stolen a domain name from you that was worth $100+?

Outraged? Not at all. You're majorly overreacting. Seriously go chill out.
You really are making life very hard on yourself and will look back at this thread with a lot of regret.

Again I am stating facts... your buyer said they would transfer it back and then less than 20 minutes later you opened this post....

You claim I am defending a thief and even mention Namepros as if it is them you have a problem with too.. because they "ignored" you and wouldn't delete your post.... your post that, if outsiders saw, would hurt Namepros (who wouldn't delete it) and that the outsiders would be "flaggerbasted" whatever that means.

So what exactly are you trying to get them to delete? If you have proof that he faked a transfer, post it, instead of asking that they cover up the proof... if there is indeed 100% proof for everything you say, why cover it up? It it is taken to court in a case or lawsuit, discoveries would have to be made for the statements, and if they are in fact true and hold substantial proof of evidence, it wouldn't be that you are slandering the buyer. If they brought a libel lawsuit against you, and discoveries showed your evidence, they would lose.

If you brought a case against them for the $9 you'd be laughed at. If you tried to prove it was more valuable you'd probably still get laughed at because you tried to sell for $9 something you claim is of more value, and even then, where was your other true buyers over that value... in the USA your loss or theft would need to be greater than $20 to even open a case.

The idea of "theft" is (taken from Cornell EDU):

The generic term for all crimes in which a person intentionally takes personal property of another without permission or consent and with the intent to convert it to the taker's use (including potential sale). In many states, when the value of the property taken is low (for example, less than $500) the crime is "petty theft" and a misdemeanor; but it is "grand theft" and a felony for larger amounts. Theft is synonymous with "larceny." Although robbery (taking by force), burglary (taking after entering unlawfully), and embezzlement (stealing from an employer) are all commonly thought of as theft, they are distinguished by the means and methods used, and are separately designated as specific types of crimes in criminal charges and statutory punishments.

So in short, you probably wouldn't even be able to open a civil case against him, while he could (from what I see) open a case against you for trashing his name... you make a lot of flaring statements.... if you have proof post it when you say what it is you're saying.

How am I overreacting by trying to get this thread deleted. This is my top intention. You all keep coming back and engaging me. I just want this thread deleted.
You are the one trying to stop all new members from selling in auctions.

    OP,

My own card got declined for membership payment, a couple of times here on NP. It happens. I had to sort it out, even though my card is good for all transactions.

Mods want to get to the bottom of this now, since you made threads about it.

They take such stuff seriously, and only they can conclude if your allegations are true.

You cannot expect a thread to be deleted without good reason, and without properly resolving the situation as requested by the mods.

And, people are also engaging you so you calm down and resolve this. Nobody is going to want to do business with you ever after this, if you are not careful.

That is why, without sounding rude or condescending, i advised you to go chill.
So you can avoid making a bad situation even worse.

So I was right. To be considered a good and rational person I have to let my domain names get stolen. Got it!
You all have to be upfront about this unspoken rule. It would help new members know that we are supposed to silently get our domain names stolen.

Consider doing deals through dan or dynadot, where when they pay they can use CC, Bank Account etc, and the domain is then pushed to them. Dynadot you could sell $9 they would give it as account credit though, min. cash-out to paypal is $100 there. I just cashed out a $142 from a sale the other day, the person got it through dynadot after paying and I was protected.

I don't do send first... if you don't have substantially good feedback, I don't send it if I'm holding your payment or something shows odd.

I don't have great feedback but 10 or so... but even when I had none, no one cared to pay me first for the domain without a hold on payment. There are a number of reasons it could have been declined, and for me it would have not gotten transferred in the first place.

I think as long as you can prove you own the domain name, people should feel okay to pay first.... once I have a cleared payment, if I'm online, transfers have taken anywhere from 5 minutes to 5+ days.

If you are unsure of how to do business look at how others do business and copy a system that works best for you.

Where did you appeal for help privately? We are not seeing any record of you appealing for help, other than a request to delete the thread you created. Which you also did publicly already in this thread:
If you can add us to the direct message you have with the member, we can investigate and get more involved.

The most ridiculous threads are often created over the smallest matters. And frequently end up being over a misunderstanding.

I sincerely thank you all who intervened here. Like I said in my last post here that I would be back after 5 hours engagement. I am back here and I am sincerely grateful for your input.
@NameDeck had offered to resolve the issue and I am ready to work with that. But everyone will see that the seller is not ready to sell but busy to paint the transaction with ill-feelings.
I am not desperate to buy his domain which I had transferred to him immediately he requested that he didn't want me to use another method.
I think the seller is a new member here and has refused to learn or want people to resolve his misconception.
Thank you all. I may not respond to this thread again unless the seller is willing to do the right things OR the moderators need my comments.

I was added to the conversation and can support @ilesanmion 's claims. He went above and beyond to try to pay for the domain.

You just need to stop— you are making yourself look worse and worse and truly irrational. No one stole your domain— you pushed it before payment of your own accord. The domain was returned to you so stop talking garbage and deflecting from the obvious truth— you didn’t want to sell a domain at that price. You aren’t complaining about the PP issue you just keep prattling nonsense of a theft that never happened. Come back when you grow up dude.

So. Op hasn't responded to the conversation with buyer after mods joined in.

Buyer tried to pay by PayPal, within the hour after payment details were given. When that failed he mentioned to use Dan, willing to take on the fees involved.

Seller created an account. Still within the hour after payment details were given. Buyer is stating to have some patience to work things out, OP request buyer to push back the name as he insists on getting payed by PayPal after all.

Within an hour and a half, after payment details were provided. Buyer returned the domain.

When no payment timeframe is given, buyers have 7 days to make the payment. Which would mean buyer still has about 5 or 6 days to make it work.

So far no response from @John Bates

    Quote from OP:

"The domain name (khace.com) is no longer with me due to the botched sale and my team took back the domain name. I am no longer able sell domain names on the behalf of my team. They are angry at the overall situation, including me."

    Khace closed :)

Why are posting my private messages to this thread? Because I was told that it was wrong to make private issues public. And if the case is closed how come this thread is still open? I am still requesting for this thread to be deleted. I know you all are trying to devalue the domain name to hurt but this domain name is no longer in my hands.

No one is trying to devalue your $9 domain name... you already did a good job of that yourself.
