I would register it if I were you, but I do not know that much about IDN names. I think that the majority of single letter .com INDs have already been registered, so if you have found one available it would be a worthwhile purchase.
As for its value, I think that would depends on the character. It would be difficult to value without knowing that.

I'm sorry, but domains like this are worthless.

Try getting domains in actual languages, rather than symbols which have no meaning.

Yes i agree , there are just to many good generics left in so many languages that stuff like this should be pushed to the back burner as a novelty , just because its 1 char doenst make it valuable , Take a look at some of the resources that are around you and make some great Regs ... Welcome to the New World IDN :)

You always have to ask yourself - who will be searching for this? In the case of ( or ) I really can't think of anyone. Would you click on a website called ).com? Probably not.

On a related topic - just an FYI, there are many one character Chinese domains out there, but not all of them are worth registering. Remember, one Chinese character could consist of 3 or 4 keystrokes, so the "one" character argument doesn't exactly apply. These characters have to mean something to have value.

I like the idea of a TV ad telling people to visit their website at "closed bracket dot com". :)

I agree with recent posts, they're totally worthless IMHO.

May I ask, where do you register domains like this? I have seen everywhere only allowing 3 char domain or more.

This is what gives IDN's a bad name... These aren't IDNs to any standards.

Yes, it has got to be tough learning addresses in the script and language you learnt at your mother knee. Just how do they do it?

All you need to do is add the fonts for the different languages to your Windows/fonts directory and you should be able to see all the wonders of IDNs. Let us know if you have problems doing this and we'll walk you through it.
