Something to think about before list your name or website for sale:
- Taking offers xx - xxx
It means the offer can be from $10 to $999 - Who would send the $999 offer when $10 offer looks fine.
- There is no rule or official price guideline for the name so list them accordingly - There is no such thing as "The price is too high" or "The price is too low".
- Don't make it sound too desperate (even that you are) - it does not help you to sell the name quickly. As a matter of fact, people will wait to see "How LOW will you go" - So drop "I need money in my Paypal, etc...."
- Stop lying to yourself - people know it : Received several offers - keep them coming.
- Unless it's a real crappy names - It's not easy to sell name for under $10. The average registration fee is $8 so listing anything under $10 would signal something is wrong or the name is about to expire.
- When listing the name - make sure that you state clearly it's a traffic name or not. Many people think that expensive name always have traffic stats and revenues.
These items are just my observation so use it if you think they will help you - otherwise just ignore them if you think they will not help you.
