What is the best number of Lease Options payments to avoid non-payment?

I used to offer Lease-to-Own on my names at Dan. But about 1/4, maybe more, of them ended up not paying. I stopped offering leases out of frustration. I did not like getting the name back on a couple of them where the buyer, IMO, put up content that I felt deteriorated the value of my domain...

question Best option for LTO/Lease recurring payments?

I have my own lead that is willing to pay $500/month total for 2 domains over 60 months (LTO). I was planning to use Dan, but $500/mo meant that Dan would be charging $780/mo including 30% surcharge for 3+ years leases and another surcharge for VAT in Europe. Or, basically, with 500$ capped...

discuss Don't forget the minimum downpayment field

I woke up to a sale today of just 1K, but I saw they did a low monthly payment plan over 12 months. So, I checked the domain and they already have a crypto exchange scam site up. So, they won't pay much, and that domaiin will be trash when they stop.

question What is a good price for leasing a domain (with respect to the sale price)?

If I have a domain priced to sell for $1000, what would be a good price to lease it at (per month)? Or more specifically, what is a good percentage of some intended sell price to set the lease price at? Anyone do this?

What should be Lease and Rent price for a domain based on BIN

As you know DAN offers you to lease or rent a domain in addition to BIN. What I want to know is if there is any standard formula available when setting up lease and rent prices? For e.g. something like lease must be at least 20% of BIN and rent must be at least 25% !?

question Is it common for a potential buyer to lease your domain?

Just an honest question, I have some domains listed on Sedo as "Make an offer". I am wondering if the domain is getting high demand and uniques, is there a chance for a buyer to lease on an alternate market solution? Also is it viable to lease a domain to still earn and keep your ownership...

    guide Domain Name Payment Plans

About 90% of respondents in a recent poll indicated that offering a payment plan increases domain name sales.
