After 2 Days:
I have made $18.00+/- off of 2 domains that are parked over at DomainHop.com..

>> What I was wondering is if this is a good start or if I'm behind all the other money makers usuing parking?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Sounds great for two random names. Anything that makes it's reg fee back in 2 days is worth owning.

Then again, it depends on how many visitors per day each of those names are getting. Could you make more elsewhere? Not enough information, AJ. :)

Take a look please? I almost get more people that view the search engine that just click it? That's strange or not?

You've earned $18.05 from only 94 visitors coming to your site? That's a rate of $192 CPM ($ per thousand visitors), which I'd say is quite a bit higher than the more typical $3 CPM average.

Thats great for you! However, your clickthrough rate seems abnormally high and I wouldn't be surprised if DomainHop cut you off for illegal clicks.

45 click throughs from 94 visitors is crazy high. I'm not saying they are illegal clicks or not, but with a ratio that high they could assume something fishy is going on like you're encouraging clicks or something.

Hopefully not of course because that is an excellent pay rate for you!

Do people clicking alot continue to usually click, or just a minor thing?

If it's this way everyday - I'd say yes it would look very suspicious .... But then again - If I were advertising the site Heavily .... I'd Hope for it !

Wow that's a pretty big click through rate, as RJ said Domain Hop may ban your account because of that.. it's just too hard to believe that a website can receive that many clicks from that many visitors and that's why they think you have illegal clicks.

I think it's because the people that click the links in my sig / on boards / from search engines think it's the actual site developed... and don't realize its a parking page? :tu:

No way, i cant beleive that. If you have posted any links your sig / or on boards , it should have been visible in search engines.
"templateogre.com" does not even have a listing in google.

Something fishy

Well, sometimes thing are like that. I have a site at Sedo that gets about a 30% CTR and its got very little exposure.

Then, your domain might be a typo or typin domain :)

Not sure, haven't done anything different? Maybe the people that were clicking before knows its just a parking page now and have no need to come back?? I don't know much about this whole thing :-/
