Something to think upon?
The vote doesn't show the name. In one of the polls, some millionaires voted for it.if you are then why would you brag about it?
It's not bragging if you are asked.if you are then why would you brag about it?
Fair enough....just me giving a insouciant replyThe vote doesn't show the name. In one of the polls, some millionaires voted for it.
A number is always good.
the ability to judge BS is not dependent on your bank balanceIt's not bragging if you are asked.
For successful people to have a voice on a forum where most people have no idea wtf they are doing allows those with drive, ambition and potential to rise and to improve their discernment and BS radar.
Rick Schwartz served in this inspiring role/ capacity for me.
Success is corellated to profits in domaining.the ability to judge BS is not dependent on your bank balance
If you have $1M and is not earning any dividends or capital appreciation, then you're a fool.If you stop earning now because you have $1M and decide to live on that money for the rest of your life.....you could spend $5K/month for the next 16 years. And then....then you will be broke again. So if you are thinking $1M is a LOT of money, you are at the wrong forum.
On the other side, the best things in life are free...
If you have $1M and is not earning any dividends or capital appreciation, then you're a fool.
$1M is a lot of money, and I would easily be set for life with it despite living in a rather expensive country.
Sure, it partly depends on what part of the world you live in, but equally important is HOW you live.It really depends where you live...1m is nothing in Beverly hills
Huh?! What offer are you referring to?Personally, i would pass up the offer.
The truth, excellent post and thank you for it. The market was fluctuating some years ago, the fact is, the market as a whole has dropped, what goes up, must come down, and it has, but, despite that, the market is strong, it is somewhat of a buyers market right now, so making the adjustments accordingly is a must to keep a steady stream of revenue, I have never relied on the sale of domain names to make money, it has always been developed websites for me.To start with my own country, 83% of people in the US earn $100 K or less in a year. 97% earn $250K or less. Why should the figures be any different in the world of domaining than in any regular job? If anything they will be worse than a steady job with a guaranteed income and no annual renewal fees.
To answer your question, unless you are both lucky and have best of the best names you are not a miserable failure if you don’t make a million dollars. You are in the majority. Dreams should be tempered with realism.
