How is outbound marketing for domains done ? Does that guarantee successful sale ? Should I hire someone from fiverr for selling my domain names ?
What do they ask on the phone? Is it for establishing trust, or just for convincing?
I would rather try to convince them by email that trust is irrelevant, than trying to establish it. They need
to trust the marketplace we use, not us.
Yes. Of course you have to have a free account and use the add function to put the domains in your portfolio.
ns3.epik.com and ns4.epik.com
Thanks fo the insight.
They have a lot of payment methods, both for buyer and seller.
Customer service has improved by leaps and bounds now that the man behind the company and his staff are watching and posting here regularly. As to my knowledge, no other company in the registrar business (of any substance) has its primary stock holder posting here.
if one can use Epik's landing page even if the domain is not registered with them.
Hi,Thanks so much for your kind help and support. I really appreciate it and lastly I'll want to know if one can use Epik's landing page even if the domain is not registered with them.
In my experience, you may have the perfect name for them and price may be low, but it doesn't matter, they won't respond, if they respond (1 in 100 chance) they won't buy or send another email. But they may buy it after 3 months (but still unlikely). Probably when they first read the email, they won't be in the right mood. Someone here mentioned creating auctions before sending outbound emails. But auctions usually end quickly, and probably without any bids.
If you push someone into doing something, they will push back. So a different strategy needs to be followed, than saying I'm selling this domain, are you buying.. How about saying: Sedo, the leading domain market, is selling this domain, and our algorithm determined that you might be among people who are best canditates to become its new owner (pretend that you are a robot without any intentions).
I have had plenty success sending outbound emails. My open rates were quite good and sold a lot of Geo+kw domains so it can absolutely be done. Use some tools to help you, I use Hunter.io and Email Finder Extension. I have sold the domains usually in the $300 but all the way up to $1500 range. You do need some type of website and all your contact info in the email including a phone number and you have to answer the phone! I never had anyone accuse me of spamming them, so out bound does work, but does take work. My sell through rate was 3-4 sales out of every 10 domains bought so that (1-100) chance certainly didn't apply to me.
Sure, Hunter.io and email finder Chrome extensions.Do you mind sharing some of the email finder extensions you used?
Gracia!
will a regular gmail ID with signature work for sending emails ?
So how do you find emails. You visit a web site and search for @ character in the source code?
If they have a visible email, does it not work?
........
How often do they respond by email, how often by phone?
What exactly do they ask: why trust you, or something like this?
........
I think 30 emails to make 300 is not great ROI. When I email, I email to one person only. It doesn't work in the short run, but may be working on the long run. It takes time. In my case all ignore.
.........
Ok 30 percent sells, great, but what percent of people really respond to email. In my case all ignore. But when there is a phone, would they reply to email.
I do this job because this is almost anonymous. I don't have to deal with boring people etc.
Maybe I would create a one page site with chat option one day.
what if you dont own a website and are an individual seller ?I would suggest using a website email address instead of using Gmail or any other. I use info@mywebsite/com. It gives you more credibility to endusers.
My template has:
Name
Website
Address
City and State
Phone Number
Email Address
You can still do it but in my opinion your response rate wont be as good. I am in individual seller as well so no prob there.what if you dont own a website and are an individual seller ?
You can try Hunter.io, they have an email tracker that works with Gmail and others.I would like to know about any free app or software to track outbound emails to end users.
Thanks for taking the time to respond to all this. I tried the hunter.io for mail tracking, but it's seem only available for gmail. So which do use for your personalize mail tracker. Or is not important. You can try Hunter.io, they have an email tracker that works with Gmail and others.
