Has anyone else's EPC plummeted?

This month, the same traffic from the same sources brings me a lot less RPC (on bodis).

I'm talking from $0.5 to $0.2. Some are even worse. There's one high traffic but low epc which went from like $0.09 a click to $0.01.

Some keywords get absurdly low earnings, like a "chiropractor" click gets less than $0.1, "medical care" earns similarly.

Even an attorney domain which got me up to $3 per click last month plummeted to $0.39.

What is going on? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Me too.

Pretty much impossible to get high epc clicks. Insurance, lawyer and medical clicks from the US are all below $1.

I want to keep investing thousands of dollars into domains for parking but the parking system doesn't make me optimistic.

Also, I want to point out that my names still get irrelevant ads all the time and inputting search terms does nothing.
Hopefully, something good can replace domain parking soon.

that's what i'm complaining too...
high paying niches now are bringing shit EPC compared what it is always been.
USA traffic on mortgage niches bring less than 1$ for click??? yeah this is happened before too but not every click like that.. now if i get a 3$ click on a mortgage related key with USA traffic i need to call me luck. Just 2 years ago that click could have been 20$ or more...

2nd horrible part, ads on domains are unrelated the traffic too much often and also if you edit keywords there is a very tiny chance that this make effect.

WTF is happened???

Hi

last year @bodis

CTR was 20.62%. that means 1 out of every 5 visitors clicked on an add.
EPC was $0.33. that means average one of those clicks above, paid 33 cents.

highest average EPC was $1.13
highest average CTR was 34.65%

BTW: i noticed that @bodis.com have reduced ALL TIME stats only from 2021 to present.

imo....

Yikes! I was wondering why I kept seeing year 2021 today when reviewing my names.

btw my clicks suck more than ever, but for some odd reason yesterday my overall traffic essentially doubled. It was an odd pattern I haven't seen before, including names that generally have tanked afa uniques.

Anomaly likely.

@keim123 you said (3 years ago) that you had about 3000 domains making 100$/200$ a day
Are you making the same currently? Or are you making less / more?

400-500$ now/day before 600-700$

We will see what impact this will have on CTR.

You are making good money with parking, even better than before
I didn't think that at a time like this you would make those values

Then say something when you know the impact that will have on ctr, especially since you work with larger numbers, it will give us a better idea of the impact it will cause

currently looks like need quantity not quality traffic

for me this month is the worst month since july 2021 considering that traffic has almost doubled since then

I need to change my strategy, I can no longer risk and buy shit domains for expensive money

Exactly my thoughts. High epc domains are heavily impacted and there's not much difference for low epc.

Conclusion, maybe quantity with low quality is better now.

With the change from PPC to PPI our revenue is suffering a drop of 80/90% until it will eventually end forever

Yeah, the reason it's happening is low quality traffic. But I had mostly good quality, med-high cpc organic traffic domains.

What am I supposed to do when my $2 epc clicks turn into $0.5?

It's senseless to keep investing into those domains when their earnings keep falling rapidly.

I can either try investing into domains with a high quantity of shitty traffic or give up parking altogether.

All my 15$+ epc clicks are all below 1$ right now

Our business is dying
I try to keep a positive mindset, but with everything is happening it's difficult

despite the fact that the last six months were a drop in revenue, overall 2023 was the best year in my history

I'm happy for you, but what matters now is 2024 onwards
Because it was at the beginning of this year that the changes began to be made

Have you tried affiliate/cpa with those domains?

I've never tried it, but it's an idea to consider

You can get smart affiliate links, just make sure they are not going to redirect your traffic to fraud, or in case you care about adult content and so forth.

There is no problem with parking, most services just got so comfortable that they just did a copy and paste with the same design/layout lmao, for what? decades. now? Really?

Oh god get with the times, don't blame that nonsense on Advertiser changes, it's their job to know and anticipate what might happen.

I see a major market in domain parking, AI functions, and Automatic tracking on which ads/keywords click the most, the most revenue-optimizing, all this can be done but staying sleepy and hoping the same trick is going to keep working is taking ZERO responsibly in your doings.

Someone earlier wrote that the new monetizing parking model rewards quantity before quality ( which actually seems to be the case when looking at my results ) ,however i was just wondering how the google customers feel paying for traffic and get on their insurance website traffic that looks for a blender ….i don’t thing that model will for for long before google costumers begin to complain ….

There will never be a better model than PPC (Pay Per Click)
With all the imperfections it has
