I can’t do Godaddy anymore. They are making it very difficult to navigate and for potential buyers to contact me.

Where is the best place to relocate? I like Name and Dynadot but it’s hard to trust any entity with 500 plus domains.

Thoughts?

hey keith, if you've moved your 500 it's time to close this thread. jus sayin.
They will be moved as they come up for renewal. Dynadot seems the best option.

oh i thought you were looking to move them en masse. a lot of people seem to be gravitating to dd. i have 99.9% there already. gd seems to be a no-go these days.

Dynadot landing pages full of ppc ads sucks. You can lose UDRP because of it, no question asked.

Need a better landing page for Dynadot, preferably with contact form, and no javascript or captcha, to make pages indexable. And of course we will sell at Dynadot then. Otherwise we will never know there is a lead, unless an agent is contacting us. ...Just like Epik, or it can be simpler.

Used to have 500+ domains at GD during Parson's days, but moved enmasse to NameSilo post Parson's elephant hunting episode.

No regrets - I still don't find a reason to transfer out anywhere from NameSilo.

Features include (but not limited to):
  • very competitive pricing with bulk discounts, and reasonable renewals;
  • more payment options than anyone out there;
  • very friendly domain management panel in a sheet-like interface with bulk actions;
  • unlimited portfolios;
  • marketplace, with private (password protected) sale option, and installment option, and less than 10% commission;
  • MLS integration in (have used both Sedo and Afternic) as well as out (marketplace listing shows up at other registrars);
  • tens of DNS templates, and fast DNS publishing (every 15 minutes);
  • free whois privacy for all TLDs that allow it, and instant email forward of inquiries to the private email-id;
  • free email forwarding, including catchall;
  • free domain redirection;
  • free customizable parking templates;
  • instant push to any other NameSilo account;
  • instant support - 24/7 for even trivial queries!

What more would one want?

PS:
  • 30 to 33 days grace period, if you miss any renewal(s) for any reason whatsoever;
  • host of web hosting options;
  • professional email at a very competitive price.
And, no, I don't work for NameSilo ;)

iPhone is probably the most used mobile device in the world. You cannot select “all domains” at Godaddy to make bulk changes.

@Joe Styler @James Iles why are you forcing me to move out?

Dynadot is exceptional. I've got over 1500 domains there. Very easy to manage large number of domains and making bulk changes is very easy.

They are also very responsive to requests. For example, I requested a button next to the domain names that copies the domain name to the clipboard. They implemented that on the site in a short period of time.

Highly recommend.

To make people contact you, Epik is the best. Epik sucked badly in the last 1+ year, but they say a strong Epik is coming (back). It might be true, but they need to establish trust. ...People can contact you via Dynadot also, but I suspect not many people can do it, only domain experts can, for example I don't know how to do it....
To all marketplaces .. stop arbitrage attempts, instead make buyers' contacting sellers easy and offer easy instant transfer with low commission. Also make commissions possible via tracked links, or coupons instead of big arbitrage gaps which hurt trust and make sales impossible, and can be punishable.

Take a moment and reread what you just posted.

Does Dyna offer something along the lines of an account exec like Godaddy?
Yes, they do. I certainly have one appointed by Dynadot themselves.

This happens when you spend a certain amount of money with them in a given year and the number of domains you're moving/having with them.

Some of basic/important functions of a registrar are missing at Dynadot.
URL redirect and email forwarding.
.......
unindexable landing pages hidden behind javascript, new browsers, cloudlfare, are big minuses as well.
Also you can't place new bids on old negotiations.
Dynadot might be doing arbitrage as well. I mean, why kill old negotiations: becuase you lost contact with actual buyer?
........
Dynadot is best overall, because of current cheap .com pricing etc. But as a registrar/marketplace
many things are not good enough or are missing.
