Appraisal Scam

GF · Feb 11, 2008

I was searching an e-mail address that e-mailed me regarding one of my domains. Surprisingly, I found a forum that had discussed and showed the same e-mail I had received!

Just a heads up to my new NamePros community...

This is where I read about the scam:

These appraisal scams have been going on for ages. Good to hear you didn't get caught out.

That's why you should never pay for an appraisal if the seller requests one. It shoud throw warning signs up when you hear that.

Got the same scam last week. Thank God for Namepros because I had read about this scam a while back. Just couldn't help but to F**K with this guy and believe it or not he kept it up! Like a used car salesman. Finally I gave up the antics. (Nothing personal to any of you used car salesmen out there!) I do love ya!
