No doubt that verse works better as a suffix, nevertheless there may be space for some good keyword combo or dot extention.
As speculative as domaining is, imagining that there will be X amount of verses, maybe as many as brands exist (Nike verse or Adidas verse, to mention the two last ones to make some noise in joining the NFT space)
Therefore sites that englobe or talk about the entire verse space could work out
Some names like HandmadeLife has, could end up not to bad of a gamble. dot properties e.g. (properties for all the verses in one place)
I regged a few some time back, like verse dot news or verse/c/o/i/n/s or verse/s/e/x in king.
Verse dot news could well be built to cover whats going on in the versep/h/e/r/e (this domain is taken btw) whether it is meta, metaverse, omni, omniverse, or whateververse
Ofcouse the word sex as a suffix makes much more sence, but as said before, it could still work out for some key and good meaning names.
But at 10K usd, and in 3 days, I do not think no one will pull the trigger. Thats just my thoughts.

I registered several hundred metaverse related names after selling one for $10,000 and an NFT one for $6500

My thinking was to register as many keywords as possible because whether the expectations of the metaverse come to pass or not, ultimately, "metaverse" is just as good as adding "world" to a keyword... if that makes sense.

I'll post them all to a website at some point.

I will happily pay 10% commission to anyone who brokers a sale.

Speaking also from a grammar perspective and other domain niches, correct order names just sell more.

may be it's just me, but I think verse as prefix sounds like the word 'worse', that's why I avoid it

True but those have zero to do with the metaverse. You guys are forgetting verse is a word of its own. Word plus verse becomes clear its the metaverse we are talking about and not say a song or verse of a poem.

Well at my end, a search for verse.com* shows the following on the first page

Notice that verse of the day is the one that purely has verse as its first word in a four-worder name. Even at that, verse in that example is in the correct order, grammatically. The two after it both have verse as the first and last word.

My initial statement wasn't that verse + keyword in the correct order has no use or won't sell but that for every verse + keyword (not in the correct order), there are many more keyword + verse simply because brands try to go with domains in their correct order as much as possible unless the name is unavailable or expensive.

Which will sell faster, SongVerse or VerseSong? How about DigitalWorld and WorldDigital?
