Hi

how long have they been listed?

did you point nameservers to sedo?


post 3 of your names

It has been a week since I listed them. I verified them with Text record so I haven't pointed them to their servers.

Pls click on some of them which will help me see their visits in the dashboard.

On the other hand dan.com and godaddy are showing me visitors.

had highly trafficked domains that pointed to 0 on sedo servers..
was thinking aboutthem for that URL sedo offers that lists all domains

thinking of dan or epik marketplace to use (which accepts all registrars' domains I believe)

namesilo recently accepted my domains there with afternic!

you can't expect to have any unique visitors at sedo, if/when your names are not pointing to their servers

imo....

Nevertheless Sedo is the biggest player in the world as I see it in the sales report of DNjournal. So we can't ignore it.

if, your names are not pointed to sedo, then you must be ignoring it, right?

and unless or until you do that, then it's unlikely anyone will find those particular names while doing a search at sedo

however..... if, they were in a category of high demand, or prized keywords, then chances would be higher.
i've sold names on afternic in the past, that were pointed sedo, so it depends on the actual name.

I, for one, do not understand how sedo has so many sales on the board - like all the time. They have the ugliest landers in the industry, and for me, they have less than one percent sell through, compared to about 10% squadhelp, 4% afternic, and 2% at godaddy and brandbucket.

My overall statistics: xx sales on Sedo, 1 on DAN, 0 on Afternic.

But can anyone make a living out of this? It seems so unpredictable to me

Yes, is possible reading the feedbacks on this forum.
However there is a lot of competition and the chance to achieve success are low.
If someone wants to play the domain business in 2021 or is passionate or is better to try something new and innovative with less competition.
I registered my first domain on 2005 so I had time to learn from my mistakes.

It is simply because Sedo have a sales feed listing all sales over $2000, while Dan and Afternic do not. NameBio pick up and list the Sedo sales, but can’t from marketplaces that do not report them (a few get privately listed). All of the marketplaces have lots of sales all the time, it‘ just that the others are not reported.

There is plenty of bot traffic on Sedo domains.
Would suggest to use a different parking provider(like dan.com) if you are more serious about real traffic.

Nor to me. The following does not seem logical to me, but I believe "offer views" is the number of visitors to the for sale lander this month at Sedo, while traffic is for some other longer period.

IF that is correct, they should rename them, and rather than reset each month (that DAN also do with monthly traffic which makes their graphs deceptive) would be better to have a rolling 30 day average, and call it 'traffic last 30 days' or something like that that makes it clear.

It is possible I am wrong, just offering what seems to me. I have searched Sedo an not been able to find a definitive explanation of meaning of the terms.

Doesn't this go to an operating website? Just letting you know in case the domain you meant to post is slightly different.

Thanks. But the time frames are different, which is why the numbers are so different, especially at start of each month, like now.

So why afternic and Dan are not being picked up?

IF Afternic/Dan reports sales ,isn't it good for their brands? more credibility?

Both bots and people are views you had no views at both. The views were all bots.

Because you are showing stats but nothing happens without content. Parking works if there was once a site or has generic search value. A brand isn't getting traffic without work. None of this should hinder a sale. Some names earn with parking and many that do not could still serve purpose once developed some content is added.
