This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

The buyer contacted me through admin email using my privacy protection page along with his 1K offer and contact details...closed it at 2k and now using Sedo escrow for the transfer.

Sold Mercator in .net extension for $14888 USD. This is my 1st 5 figure sale since I entered into domaining. Not Sure it's an Outbound or Inbound Sale, Got 1st Opening offer of $2500 USD from Godaddy Broker on the same day when my team did outbound for the name.

Thank you for share!

But what "dzaba" mean?

It's an interesting story.

I had no idea what it means. However, I found out it through expireddomains.net with a DA of 31 and backordered through DropCatch and had to bid until $305 to win in the auction as there were several bidders for it.

To be honest, this was the first time I bid beyond $100 for a domain totally based on DA without even thinking whether it is brandable or what it means. I questioned myself why did I risk such amount though it has backlinks.

However, I figured out that it is used in the personal names for French people when I saw the real name of the buyer in the invoice. :xf.smile:

Will never gamble on such domains that I don't know what it means again. :xf.grin:

I had no idea what it means.

Slavic language (Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Macedonian, Polish, Czech etc): džaba
Free, for free, gratis, cheap, inexpensive, affordable.

The dzaba word was of Turkish origin: Caba
When the input of time or effort didn't bring any value, money or exchange of goods. (something like this)

Lottery tickets are sold out by Hope. I like to read more about the word, edu my brain and scout for the end users/ future. I don’t chase. I will connect/network and wait for the next day. I don’t care about the name, I do care about the visionary people and they care about my discoveries. Agency/Broker is there to make sure that everything is ok and the name is tested for a very long period of time, ready to meet with the certain people in the world. Agency job is to aggregate info, analyze the data, start multiple surveys, etc ... Their services are expensive and the price for brand/domain name was just $0,9% of the total cost. They don’t ask me to give them % , I give them as a little “thank you for your support, time and care”. It was pleasure to learn more about the name and why is on-point or not. Most of D relying on AN, etc, sitting in the middle of the room and waiting for the....

me I was just pointing out to fact posted sales of few month old handregs that sell for say 30k plus range...are maybe equivalent % to a lottery win.

which should also translate
into same odds outside this thread.. in domaining overall.

I wrote a few lines for those of people who are confused with the process of using ( connecting) theirs network. You know what it takes to make it happen, more than that :xf.smile:

Sometimes a lucky person will hit the lottery or you may know information that others don't that can make you profit.
