Time to heal is correct, but given the fact 45 hasn't 'manned up' and conceded, shows a blatant disrespect for due process and tradition. That is exactly what one might expect of autocratic leadership.

As a private citizen, you're free to do whatever turns your crank...but when you hold the highest office in the land, one would think that comes with a measure of responsibility, especially for the people who you surround yourself with. Afterall, that's what real leaders do.

I'm neither Republican/Democrat, nor did I even pretend to be an American. IMHO I'm not even a Leftist (although accused of being so by those on the extreme Right). This is a domain forum - a thread for people to express their opinions (free speech is still allowed in Canada BTW) and have expressed my views within measure, my judgement balanced by the clarity of observation, I don't believe in false Idols.


As a outsider, Trump served his purpose - exposing America to the corruption of Washington. As the saying goes, "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely."

• downplaying the TRUE potential threat that the then emerging Corona-19 virus held - and then continuing doing so throughout this pandemic - AND then NEVER putting together a cohesive national plan to deal with it - AND that because of this ineptess, the economy and stock market tanked
  
• playing more golf in his 4 years in office than Obama did in 8 years - despite a campaign claim (promise???) he would be too busy making America great again to be able to play golf
• the fact that Mexico NEVER paid a penny for what little wall he manged to get built
• "alternative facts"
• the undermining of our democracy
  
• cheapening of the Office of the President and all it's standards and mores
• that he (and his followers) seem to think/believe tariffs are paid by the producing country and don't understand that they aren't and actually paid by consumers of the products
• the number of jobs added in T-man's first 3 years in office were about the same as the number added during Obama's last 3 years in office
• the national debt has grown BIGLY under his watch, FAR more than under Obama's - and this was BEFORE the Covid virus!
