I started reading about domaining last August 2017 and finally did some handregs on September 2017. Today, after 10mos, I finally got my first ever sale! A hand-regged I made last Oct. 2017 about coin related domain (coin****.com). 100% profit is not bad. After all, I read that as beginners, we should not be picky about the price. A profit is still a profit. I am just ecstatic at the moment to have finally my first sale! As what I did from the profit I gained, I hand-reg another domain name that I believe will be my big shot, it is TRADINGMIRROR.com

This number 7 reads to me as give your domains to other domainers at almost cost— because —well you don’t know any better yet. Not really sound advice. I am kinda shocked you started a thread over a $20 profit to be honest. If I only made $20 in a year I would know I was doing something wrong.

Other domainers will try to get your good names for as cheap as they can. Don’t let them —should be Number 7.
Thank you for the input man. I'll make sure that I won't fall prey for "those" kind of domainers. lol.

I think you did. 🙄 I guess you don’t get my point. A we have a thread to report sales B no one reports these tiny ones. How is a tiny sale motivating to others is the real question.

I actually set a price and we met halfway the price his counter offer. It's a sale I'm happy for. And I believe that it makes newbies, like me, happy because that's what we want for at first, to have a sale.

Wow man, I think you may be missing the point. The OP has made a sale trying to share their success with the others. That's the point.

There stories here who had their first sale days after. There are weeks after. There are months after. There are also years after. Keep learning, and continue to do so. That is what I am also doing, to learn and learn. And try what strategy might work.

I assume by 10 months you were not outbounding and your contact found you though type in?

I did outbound, via email. Have not tried doing calls yet. But, yes, I did lay-low on my 3rd month until just recently since I became too busy with my job and my studies. So you can say that I did not exert enough effort yet to attain a sale that I should be "proud" of.

Congrats on the sale! I hope there will be more sales soon. I'm still learning and still trying to sell 1 domain:)

Thank you! Just like the rest, let's learn some more to see what really work as our strategy to have sales.

Congratulations friend. I don't want you to look at the negativity being thrown at you. Just focus. Sometimes in Domaining you don't always get the price you want. In fact, one can hit a lot of loss. The goal is to pick the pieces and aim higher. I wish you the best in coming sales

That's awesome because as they say the first sale is the toughest. Way to keep working and not giving up. Your experiences now will pave the way for more sales!
