  • Taxing capital gains and dividends the same as income from work.
    Revenue raised: $92 billion per year.Warren Buffett, the second wealthiest American in the country, has said that he pays a lower effective tax rate than his secretary. The reason is that he receives most of his income from capital gains and dividends, which are taxed at a much lower rate than income from work. This plan will end the special tax break for capital gains and dividends on household income above $250,000.
  • Limit tax deductions for rich.
    Revenue raised: $15 billion per year. Under Bernie’s plan, households making over $250,000 would no longer be able to save more than 28 cents in taxes from every dollar in tax deductions. This limit would replace more complicated and less effective limits on tax breaks for the rich including the AMT, the personal exemption phase-out and the limit on itemized deductions.
  • The Responsible Estate Tax.
    Revenue raised: $21 billion per year.This provision would tax the estates of the wealthiest 0.3 percent (three-tenths of 1 percent) of Americans who inherit over $3.5 million at progressive rates and close loopholes in the estate tax.
  • Savings from health tax expenditures.
    Revenue raised: $310 billion per year. Several tax breaks that subsidize health care (health-related “tax expenditures”) would become obsolete and disappear under a single-payer health care system, saving $310 billion per year.Most importantly, health care provided by employers is compensation that is not subject to payroll taxes or income taxes under current law. This is a significant tax break that would effectively disappear under this plan because all Americans would receive health care through the new single-payer program instead of employer-based health care.

Hillary had such small crowds at her rallies that she had to bus in 1000 times more Soros paid people to place them behind her for the cameras, so it wouldn't look ridiculous on TV.

Every country buses in supporters for logistical purposes. Do you think when Obama visited Europe, people weren't bused as well? Do you think everyone took their cars or bicycles to see Obama?

I'm all for banning violent and hate groups and gangs. I would not shed a tear if the Nazis and KKK were banned, for one simple reason... I love and admire Jewish people.

Likewise, there are a number of Leftist groups that hate Jews as well and those should be banned as well. I also believe that violent gangs should be banned. Just in Chicago alone every weekend anywhere from 6-10 people are murdered and about 40+ injured by gangs. Does the Liberal Media freak out about that? All they talk about is white supremacists.

How about the Black supremacists that hate whites or the Muslim supremacists that hate the infidels? Does the Liberal Media freak out about that?

But as long as the US constitution says they have a right to express their opinion, then that right unfortunately should be defended.

Not sure who's doing it, making all those fake Twitter antifa accounts, but there are lots of those fake ones out there. antifa+city. There are some real ones that lean more city+antifa. But you can kind of tell from reading what they tweet.

There are probably a lot of people on the left that don't like them. Because they are the ones that tend to start stuff up. It's where most of the negative stuff comes from against the "left". Then it gets used for promotion/propaganda. See how violent the left are. I'm more for the tubas.

Second time this happened - too much of a coincidence. Either there's a serious competency issue in the Navy or something funny is going on. I haven't had time to look at it yet, but BBC had a article about GPS spoofing which sounds worth a read..

What do you think about these "antifas?" Being against fascism is generally a good thing (unless you're a fascist). Means and methods vary, I don't condone them all, nor do most people. Then there are the fake antifa who are just agitators.

When this happens in the MC or Airforce, they issue a stand down order until they figure out what is happening. Not sure what the navy will do.

First thing I thought of was that or another article about RU testing a system to spoof civilian GPS satellites. A number of ships in harbor showed their location 30 miles inland.

That would be very bad for GPS guided bombs.

Our Senate and House require more than a simple majority to pass a law. So, while the GOP holds the majority, Democrats can still obstruct.
