Slow and steady... "Holo" naming strategy continues... this time it's "HoloMind"...

Mind Mapping in 3D with the HoloLens & Holo Mind
(Interesting to note this is a German company, so the "holo" naming convention apparently stretches to Europe...)

HOLOxxx just sounds much better than ARxxx, doesn't it? Just makes for better words.
But then again, nobody knows where the naming conventions of all this will go..

Hmmmm... I've also recently had some Holo inquiry activity in the mid-$$$ range... I suspect a "Holo-latecomer" is shopping in hopes of building a Holo portfolio on the cheap... I'd be curious if anyone else is experiencing this same action? ;)

I registered a long tail years ago. It always gets a little traffic. Not really good for resale though.

HologramResources.com pointed to an old Google site page

It is pretty cool technology.

The funniest thing is that the Holo name I get the most inquiries for is HoloNO.com lol no joke. It's because of that I picked up HoloMO.com a few months back.... but yes, general uptick.

A popular MS Hololens product certaily won't hurt the "holo" vertical, but at the risk of repeating what many have already observed, the "holo" naming convention is not MS dependent... ("holo" terms were a staple in scientific and science fiction literature long before Hololens/MS, and holo will be there long after... JMHO... :xf.grin:)

very good point indeed, @NamesBond (great handle btw...). Isn't it even an old Greek word or something? Even better if it's not dependent on MS, but I think it's a general-public perception thing that needs to get ingrained before everyone has an idea about what a hologram is and what it can do in this context. that sentence sounded odd

@BostonDomainer

Yes, I had 2 inquiries as well, 1 on HoloTech ($250) and HoloFlector.com ($150)

speaking of naming.. since I'm mostly a VR guy.. can someone here briefly explain difference in domain naming between holographic+kw vs hologram+kw? I never quite figured it out.. personally I greatly prefer holographic.. and my only holo*.* anything sale so far is in that too..

but I know there are tons of well aged and good hologram+kw domains too.. not so sure about sales though... namebio doesn't show much of anything starting with holo*.*
let alone hologram+kw or holographic+kw

cheers
