You do not need 500 names. If you are hand regging them you will only sell a fraction. How about you just buy one name at 5K and try and flip it.

All your attention can be focused on one worthwhile domain. More time for end-user searches instead of sitting on a bunch of worthless names and hope they will suddenly turn valuable.

This goes for OPs names too. You see yourself turning a profit on those examples?

You've got over 400 domains already and you've just started domaining. You ought to slow way way down. I cannot speak to the .co.uk domains because I've only ever owned 2 and let them both expire. But all those letter+number domains are just so random, I think, you'll be hard to liquidate them at a profit. Pretty much everything else is crap. I don't see 1 quality domain amongst your 400 domains. Maybe I missed it. Apologies for speaking frankly.

Well, the HarleyDental.co.uk from the same crap lot has been offered GBP 500 with a single outbound phone call ($650) .I think its worth more than 500. Harely Street in London is famous for dental and cosmetic clinics. I will wait for right offer.

The driverless domains are for future, not for today..True I need to slow down, but to some extent I see potential and some are really crap, i thoght myself what the hell I was thinking before buying

If you can move them then more power to yah. Keep that cold calling ball rolling and don't be afraid to stop into the mom and pop shops either with hand held and show some stats on how the domain can help them either.

As I've said. I cannot speak to the .co.uk domains. I hope you sell it which will pay for all the other domains. You should sell it. At least you guarantee yourself a small profit. You can then be more selective on price with the others.

Its a slippery slope! Before you know it your meeting shady looking guys in back allys and doing deals for drop catching software. One or two names a day isnt enough anymore and your chasing the buzz of the first name you caught! You have to spend more money on a name to reap more reward but where will you get the cash from? Theft? Payday loans? What about the wife and kids? Before you know whats happened your in a bedsit and you havent washed for 3 weeks and your baby doesnt recognise you. LOOK AT YOURSELF MAN!! YOUR BETTER THAN THIS!

Anyways, try a few more calls on the dental thing, use your first offer as baseline. Then sell it, its a decent profit and you need something going in, to fund your search for the next end user. Its never going to be a 5 figure domain, and if you get 4 figures you will be lucky.

I never believed in .co, stop buying those. The office2rent one is OK.

I only spend, what I can afford to loose...no bragging, till now I have spent 2 days worth of my earning on domanis , so I am good.

There are some that I could see you shift if you have a knack for outbound marketing. But many more that is just a waste of your time and money.

Picture the person buying the name from you, BEFORE you buy it. Have to agree with Stub, those number/letter ones are just a waste of your time.

So in 10+ years 3 characters have not moved. How long do you want to wait before selling those 4 characters?

You''ll be dropping many more than you sell. But as long as you make a profit overall. It's ok. You should learn quickly by your mistakes. Including those LNLN.com's. Then next year you won't waste so much money on the crap.

Probably you are right, I started domaining in Jun 2016 (10 yr late to the party) and like a toddler does, I will fall and learn from my mistakes.

Fortunately, the mistake is only GBP 1/ domain name but during the domaning journey, I am fortunate to have met some nice people like you guys who are willing to guide a new starter...I appreciate that very much!
