Hello, i am thinking about setting up a local registrar for my area and im wanting to know which is the best reseller for .com.au domains. The reseller account must be easy to use and customizeable and has the cheapest prices.

If anyone has any recommendations please post here.

Thanks

Morgan

maybe you could try WebNIC($0.99), Dynadot($2.99) or Key-Systems($1.50), and if you understand Chinese you could try ename.cn or namerich.cn (only charge $0.13).

Hope that can help you!

ccTLD question (buyer requirements)

Hi gang, just had a quick question.

Does anyone know of a website or online pdf document that outlines the buyer requirements for most or all of the international ccTLD's available to be registrered?

I'm looking to go on a little international domain buying spree and want to know what ccTLD extensions I can easily registrar (I'm in the U.S.) and which I can not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

.ca now available at Godaddy

Dot ca domains are now available at Godaddy for $12.99/yr.
https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/tlds/ca.asp

The floodgates are OPEN! Wonder if we'll see a nice rise in the registration of .ca domains.

We don't have to pay GST for .ca regs there, right?

Woot!

I didn't see any GST charges on mine,
but I did use the code downforce
just out of curiosity...
and it took the price from $12.99 to $11.04 :D

Yes, According to Canadian Presence requirements Her Majesty and her successors are permitted to own .ca domains. Section 2.1(m). If you are not the Queen you will have to qualify by one of the other standards. And if you want a domain that she desires watch out brother. You will become fertilizer for the royal garden.

if she wants my domain she'll have to pay for it just like everyone else. roar!!!

i wonder what would happen if i did select that option... would they check? :guilty:

GoDaddy + .ca registrations = more tbr action.

I don't see this leading to many more .ca registrations than there are already are. There are .ca registrars with lower prices and far superior customer service offering .ca domains - most for many years with a solid track-record. Besides - once word gets out that CIRA aggressively polices the domain space and non-residency registrants start losing their domains it will be mostly Canadians registering .ca as always from companies like namespro, sibername, 10dollar etc.

More choice is always nice, but unless they offer tbr services... not much news here for .ca imo.
