These are the questions we hear most about NamePros landers, with short answers and where to read more.
I saw a NamePros lander I love. How do I make one like it?
These can help:
- Lander demos and their settings shows live demo landers and the settings behind each one.
- Templates for NamePros landers has descriptions you can copy.
- HTML, text formatting, and template variables explains how to write your own.
You can also send us the domain, and we will help you make one like it.
A buyer clicked Buy Now. What happens next, and how do I know I was paid?
We email you twice, both with the subject "Price accepted for" and the domain:
- When the buyer is ready to pay your price and is looking at your payment methods.
- When the buyer chooses a payment method. Confirm or arrange the payment with them.
The money goes straight to you or to the escrow service, not through NamePros, so check the account for the payment method the buyer chose (e.g., PayPal, Escrow.com, or a marketplace) to see that it arrived. Reply to our email to reach the buyer. If they stop replying, follow up every few days.
With Checkout details set to "Straight to checkout, without inquiry", a buyer paying with a direct method can pay without leaving an email address, so we may have nothing to tell you. Check your payment account.
How do I stop low offers, or sell only at my price?
- To turn offers off, set Accept offers to "Never". The offer field is hidden from your landers.
- To keep offers but drop low ones, set a Fixed minimum offer, or a Relative minimum offer as a share of your buy now price. Lower offers are declined for you, and by default you are not emailed about them.
Set them for your whole account, or on one domain to give it its own minimum.
How do I change "Available for sale!" or "Contact the seller", or hide my name?
- "Available for sale!" shows when you have no Short description. Write one and it shows in its place.
- "Contact the seller" and the button text are Form heading, Contact seller text and Button text.
- To hide your name, turn off Display seller card.
- "Powered by NamePros" is NamePros branding.
The descriptions and NamePros branding need an upgraded account. See which accounts can use them.
Which accounts can add descriptions and remove NamePros branding?
Every member can park domains for free. Two lander features come with these account levels:
- Custom descriptions (Short description and the expanded description), with text formatting and template variables.
- Removing NamePros branding from your landers. Agreements and links that make the lander work, such as the privacy policy, stay.
| Account level | How you get it |
|---|---|
| Gold Account | Upgrade your account. |
| Large Domain Portfolio Holder | Verify 1,000 or more domains in NamePros Parking, then ask to join. |
| VIP | Given to long-standing community members; it cannot be bought. |
Every account level and its benefits: Account levels.
Can I park a domain that is not for sale?
Yes. Set For sale to one of these:
- "Off market, promotion available" hides the inquiry form, your seller card and the prices, but the domain can still appear in domain search and ads.
- "Off market, promotion disabled" hides them too, and keeps the domain out of domain search and ads.
Use a Short description for your own message (e.g., "Coming soon"). Descriptions need an upgraded account (see which accounts can use them).
Can buyers see my email address?
Not on your lander. Once a buyer confirms their email address, we email them their inquiry, and a reply to it goes to your parking email, so they see that address then. To keep your main address private, set a separate one in your parking profile.
How do I block a spammer or cut down fake inquiries?
- On an inquiry's page, select "Add to ignore list" beside the sender's email address (or IP address, where shown). Inquiries from that sender are hidden from your lists and are not emailed to you. Manage the list under Ignored senders.
- Turn on Interest Qualification: Require confirmed domain interest. Buyers then confirm that they want this exact domain and leave a phone number and a message. By default you are emailed only about buyers who do, which cuts down emails from visitors who typed the wrong name, spammers and buyers who are not serious. Every inquiry still shows on Inquiries.
My registrar shows an error when I set your nameservers. What do I do?
This can happen when the domain is not in your NamePros account yet: some registries, such as .de, accept our nameservers only after that. Do these steps in this order:
- Add the domain to your NamePros account.
- Set both of your account's nameservers on the domain at your registrar.
Check both nameservers for typing mistakes too. If the error stays, contact NamePros Support with the domain and the error your registrar shows.
My domain will not verify. Which nameservers do I use?
Use the two shown under "NS" on Verify domains . The second one is unique to your account. A common mistake is to set the general ns1.namepros-dns.com and ns2.namepros-dns.com instead. Those do not show us the domain is yours, so it stays unverified. More causes are in When a domain will not verify.
Can I hide that my domains belong to one account?
Yes. Your second nameserver is unique to your account, so anyone who looks it up can link your domains together. Turn on Anonymous NS records, then, once a domain is verified, change its nameservers at your registrar to these:
ns1.namepros-dns.comns2.namepros-dns.is
The second one ends in .is, not .com. If your registrar does not accept the .is name, ns2.namepros-dns.com works too.
Can I keep my email, or add records for another marketplace, on your nameservers?
Yes. Add your records under Settings, DNS, for your whole account or for one domain:
- Custom MX records send the domain's email to your provider (e.g., Google Workspace).
- Custom TXT records hold a verification record from another marketplace or your email provider.
- Custom CNAME records point a subdomain somewhere else.
What are the Detected and Removed tabs, and how do I remove a domain?
- Detected lists domains that use your records but are not in your account. Select "Add" to add one.
- Removed lists domains you removed, so you can add them back.
- To remove a domain, check it on Domain names and choose "Remove" in the bar above or below the list. To remove many, see the guide to acting on many domains at once.

How do I see traffic for my domains?
Add your own analytics to your landers under Settings, Miscellaneous:
- Google Analytics shows visitors as they arrive and over time: where they came from, their country, their browser, and more. The guide to Google Analytics with NamePros landers walks you through it.
- Fathom Analytics is a simple alternative that collects less data about your visitors.
Our own visitor reports are coming soon.
Google says my tag was not detected. Is it working?
Enter only your tag ID (it starts with G- or GT-), not the script Google gives you. We add the script for you. Google's tag test can report a working tag on a lander as missing, so test with the full address, starting with https://, then wait a day and look for visits in Google Analytics itself.
How do I verify my domains?
Read Verification methods and troubleshooting. It covers the three ways to verify and what each error means. If your registrar cannot change nameservers, see Using A records.
Why don't I see PayPal as a payment method?
Contact NamePros Support, and we will look into it for you.
I have another question. Where do I ask it?

- Ask in private: NamePros Support
