news GoDaddy buys dnAcademy
GoDaddy bought Afternic and although I am making more sales there than other aftermarkets, it's also the clunkiest to deal with. They also acquired Sellbrite (think that founder's name was Michael too) and that site is slow, unintuitive and lacks any innovation. Errors without error messages...- Points: 0

"A Look At How Large Companies Use Their Premium Domains" They are all just using them for redirects. That's a little disappointing as I was hoping they actually did something cool with a couple of them.- Points: 0

discuss Ever bought a domain name back, which you sold earlier?
I have sold a few domains over the years that expired. One of them I hand regged again. I figure if it sold once, maybe it'll sell again. First time I think I only sold it for $100 at most.- Points: 0

question Adding years to boost sales
I read stories all the time about domains being bought on Afternic right before and after they renew. So I guess the question is, when was that buyer first looking at the name. I haven't heard anyone mentioning any tools that show major price drops on domains. So I guess someone has to make...- Points: 0

domain ctrical*ngin**rs.n*t SOLD
Not sure what happened here. Bids were over $20 when I last looked but I guess the buyer didn't pay? Annoying that Dynadot doesn't show me the final sale price or e-mail me to tell me the sale fell through. When expired domains end to a deadbeat, the second highest bidder usually gets it...- Points: 0

domains Sav.com off to a hot January when it comes to .Xyz domain sales
A number of 1-word .xyz auctions have also been relisted on Sav in the last week. I guess too many deadbeat high bidders or something? "The high bidder for the auction of photography.xyz was unable to complete the transaction. Due to this, we have restarted the auction and all bids have been...- Points: 0

domains Sav.com off to a hot January when it comes to .Xyz domain sales
Sav has other bugs too. I had an issue where I couldn't change the price of a BIN for one of my domains. Support offered to manually change it for me but I told them I needed to be able to tweak my prices myself. Eventually they escalated the problem and worked it out. As far as the site...- Points: 0
