How is that now how it works? I paid with my mastercard to Epik and then Epik registers the domain and pays. Whomever processes Epik's credit card transactions then dumps their payments less transaction fees into their bank account most likely on a daily basis.

If you mean transferred in from another registrar then ICANN requires 60 days. Epik can't override that. But if you received a push from another Epik user, that should be something they could remove.

advice Best way to negotiate down a significant counter offer?

I am guessing there was no BIN just a 1000 minimum. Most of the time, we see the seller's POV on these boards where the seller says "hey I got a 1k offer, what do I do?" and if they sent back 16k then there's two possibilities. He hit really high to see what he could get from your second...

I also turned down a $500 offer recently for a domain I had acquired for much less. I did not end up with a 400k offer or even a 200k offer. I'm not sure I could turn away $200k on a $16 purchase or at least having that negotiated up by the agent. If someone goes from $500 to 200k and I can't...
