From Mike Mann on LinkedIn -

“Swetha is just an alias of Dan Negari. The vast majority of those high end .xyz sales are fake. The reason they appear to sell for BIN is because it is too complex and risky to use Afternic as a proxy to negotiate prices with himself.”

If this is true that would be unreal!

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I think we can ignore Mike views saying she is not real, he himself afraid to accept her challenge few months back.

If he is so sure, why he didn't accept her challenge?
A deal between two fake people, even what
.abc and .xyz have the same meaning, why we don't see the same sale volume in .abc!

Please attach XYZ sales screenshots.

Dan obviously bought XYZs from other domainers as well to create traction.

C'mon, seriously?

Why should I bother trying to convince you about it?

Will you buy my xyz domains after I do?

I have attacked a lot of them in the forum, feel free to look for them

Mike Mann has a boomer mentality.

Regardless of the truth to all this, I think the skepticism of an extension is natural when the extension is owned by a company or individual. We've all seen .best and .top promoted here to domain investors, and the value of most of these extensions usually go nowhere.

The problem with a company or individual owning an extension is there can be a huge incentive to create a "hero" who receives a ton of generated sales. Even if they had to pay commissions on each sale, it would be a small advertising cost compared to the registrations and renewals it would consistently generate.

Not saying that is what's happening here, but I've always held a high level of scrutiny for any situations where 1-2 people are telling us how great something works but the math does not work out for anyone else or there is little transparency. Look at the recent scam with the FTX crypto exchange where people were scammed out of $8,000,000,000. As investors that are responsible for our own success and failures, it's critical that we maintain a level of scrutiny to avoid large losses.

If you found a gold mine, why on the earth would you actively report your findings and success to your actual and potential competitors?

As I have stated; there is at least 1 registrar that would come out extremely well with the fake purchases. We all know who as well. Sure hundreds of registries could but the biggest definitely would attain the most surge in cash purchases!

You are a Domo Sapiens. I am sure you can spend a little bit of your own time to do research using namebio.
Or just Google the info. Domain name wire even did a list of developed end user sites using xyz.

100 percent was thinking that Swetha is project of XYZ group, and kudos to them for using this strategy. In the end being invested in XYZ will pay off, because of the marketing from the company as a whole. XYZ and .club are best newtlds in my opinion.

will add to this: that we will never find out the truth, but one should not make decision solely on one others sales, but rather be aware of the entire market picture.

I first time responding on swetha sales issue.
I think we should study her business model instead of complaining because in the long run that could be benefit us as a community.

How about all of the end users who are using the names they bought from Swetha?

I guess the conspiracy is not only between Swetha and Daniel Negari, but also between all of the end users, too.

Hundreds of companies have come on board just to make Mike Mann look bad.

Well played!

Many of Swetha's .XYZ sales have been verified. Some are developed by end users and also she is not the only one to have success with .XYZ.

Quite pathetic that people are still talking about this without producing any evidence.

Killing some time as I wait for the pizza. Went to Namebio, set the price at 20K and up, looked at the last 20 sales of 2022 for swetha:

So last 20, only 4 parked or don't resolve. The rest are developed crypto, NFTS, business etc. So actually very believable. Big portfolio of mainly single words, so it makes sense she would dominate sales.

conduit.xyz - crypto
chroma.xyz - godaddy parked page
lore.xyz - crypto/nfts
mantle.xyz - crypto
bull.xyz - doesn't resolve
sino.xyz - big business site, hong kong, 11,000+ employees
mew.xyz - dan sold page
keys.xyz - metaverse
singular.xyz -crypto/nfts
kinetic.xyz - nfts
psychedelic.xyz - dan sold page
happening.xyz - big tech site
evaluate.xyz - nfts
redeem.xyz - crypto tech
pixels.xyz - games, crypto
taiko.xyz - crypto
sportsbet.xyz - betting
bebop.xyz - crypto
territory.xyz - coming soon, web3
roundtable.xyz - software/ai
kylin.xyz - doesn't resolve

Is that meaning that they have no meaning or look like a child's extension?

Still, really the only evidence supplied in this thread are some silly ramblings from a giant ball of lipids.

Leave her alone. There are too many threads about her already.
If you believe xyz sales are fake then don't invest in them.
I don't care if the sales are fake or not. I do some researches and make my own decision regardless of the extension.

she has popularized her assets to increase in value.

What about her partners?
I am sure she said before she was in cahoots with one or both of the Booth brothers? Correct me if I am wrong pretty.please
I would go back and look but now we can only go back 10 pages of posts due to the upgrade that seriously degraded this playform.

So you got male partners ma’am?
78% of the time your guilty until prove innocence in this.biz but this .topic falls under the 22% criteria.
@Frand pretty smart of her eh
