That data doesn't seem to include infected people who weren't tested. It's actually kind of a good example of how we can spin data to make things look better or worse.

I'm not saying COVID isn't terrible. It is. It's highly contagious, more fatal than the flu, and has the potential to completely overwhelm our healthcare systems. It needs to be handled. I just don't think we need to live in fear of it unless we're in a high risk group.

It appears the world may end up having more deaths from covid than a conventional world war would cause... Yet still today ... China and their release of biological virus on the world is not the topic of conversation throughout the world ..... and i have no idea why ...

The beauty of it is that you and others who believe it will always be able to find bits and pieces of out-of-context information that supports your beliefs, and they'll never be disproved because you contend that it's all being brilliantly orchestrated right under our noses, and 99% of us have taken the bait.

I wear a mask inside every building that isn't my house. I don't go out unless it's to get groceries, walk the dog, or do stuff outside with my kids. That's not because I'm scared COVID is going to get me or my family. We live in a city of a million and we only get 100-200 new cases per day. At a fatality rate of 0.5% (or even 1.7% if we want to use your numbers and ignore those who don't get tested), the disease itself really isn't a concern. I do it to safeguard more vulnerable people and to do my part to ease the burden on health workers.

These restrictions are absolutely necessary, and it's mainly because a lot of people haven't taken them seriously.

I just think it's important to understand what the primary motivation is. The disease is not all that deadly. It's very contagious, which makes it seem more deadly than it is (because over 93 million have been infected).

And I just warned you that even if you get a mild covid-19 infection with very mild symptoms, there's a high percentage of people, young people, that after having a mild infection are suffering from permanently brain, heart, kidneys and other organ damage. Serious damages.
