Good luck with your sales!

$600
Sedo
inbound at BIN
price
hand reg on discount promo so nice ratio :xf.smile:
hold time about 3 months

Sold yesterday. Incredible speed from Sedo -- was just over 12 hr from sold until it was transferred and I was paid in my PayPal.

This is my first .link sale (I started investing in some this summer, all at discounted hand reg).

I had slightly decreased the BIN a few days earlier, not sure if that had an impact. I also had changed where lander pointed (the lander was not at Sedo before or after, but guess buyer preferred to buy there).

I have no idea whether buyer views it for the extinct bird, as do do!, or the myriad of ways the term has come to be used. I probably should have researched it more on acquisition and setting BIN price. It is taken in 187 TLDs, some for sale at big prices. Oh well, I am happy with my return.
Congrats happy to see dodo name.
am from Mauritius DoDo island and i can tell you thousands of company use that name dodo for The Bird. and dodo also mean sleep in French

same buyer with initial offer?
Yes, I told him I would change the bin to $1,000 for the rest of the day today only and that if he hit BIN and didn’t pay within 24 hrs I would cancel the deal. Purchased it shortly after and paid in full. Long story, I wouldn’t have normally been that way but he was kind of rude out the gate shall we say. First offer was with, “not sure if anyone told you but it’s a .co, not a .com”
I sent him a link to the .com listing and told him, “not sure if anyone told you but, “Rapid Tests”, are kind of a big deal these days. Here’s the link to the .com if you want to try and purchase it, have at it.”
True story.

True story.

I've encountered this type of strategy from the other party to bring down the price, from job salary negotiation to online transactions. They would say negative words about our products, service, or domains. If the negative words would get you, you bring down the price according to their target.

Personally, I would like to meet halfway or near to my intended price.

Wow... really nice.

It was on my watchlist and I was going to snipe in the last minute and even had alarm but something came up and I was hitting my head for missing it lol

It would have been even worse if I had won it and gor transferred away which happens to me nowadays 4 out of 5 times. Sucks when you get into a Bid war for 1 hour

I swear I didn't put 299.
Recently I was reducing a bunch of promo .co from 499 to 299 to see if increase sales and I think I fatfingered this name

I was willing to hold this forever because It earns about 10-15 usd in parking income a Year so it was paying for itself.

Might Not seem like a great name but I have had this name before the plural version of the name which is a multi million dollar company.
Lucky day buy for the buyer.
But I have done bigger mistakes... oh well...

PS: Please don't type the name out

Pushed to Afterescrow sigh..
This was not even in Fasttransfer because I knew I would negotiate this name lol
I shed a few tears and pushed it reluctantly..
Afternic tempted me saying they will void the sell if I call them, that is if I longer owned the name.
But I don't roll like that :)
Good luck to the buyer.
