Blackfriday and cybermonday are just 10 days away and I am sure all of us are geared up to make the most of the awesome deals on the internet.

I forgot all about it and just remembered before so started going for them. I've had two capcha's so far and it was much quicker on the smartphone.

Am I correct that there are no deals under, say, $4 for 5+ transfers of .online, .website, club, .site, .fun, .shop, .store? Most of my domains are .coms, but I picked up some of the above in last year's Namecheap sale. Would like to hold on to some them but not at the full price...

Because the wholesale cost is so much to registrar, and since registrars and registries offer low first year to entice people in with some fraction renewing to recoup costs, I doubt there will be deeply reduced transfer or renewal.

You can check TLD-list and DomComp to see best current transfer costs.

Edit 1&1 apparently allow transfer of one only for $5 in some of these. Have not used them personally.

The sense is for Namecheap to create a feeding frenzy, generate buzz, be the talk of NamePros and other forums, get new people to hear about them, resulting in more domain registrations at their regular pricing and make more money! What else!

A small minority, myself included, are turned off by their antics and stay clear, but most others, judging by this thread, seem to get caught in Namecheap's casino roulette game and perform as expected: make Namecheap the talk of the town! Most of them getting nothing or very little in return for all this hard work, promoting Namecheap

Wov. I am thrilled to see people helping each other out with every deal.

Just to clarify a few about namecheap. Only 1 deal can be taken from 1 category like 1 from .com .cc. and that is why many hosting deals were a available for 6 -8 minutes as well.
1 account can only take 1 4.88 and 2.88 hosting. Which is a good thing as most of them will get atleast 1 deal.

I Hope everyone have saved a lot of money and I wish they make more money with the domains bought today.

Kindly keep reporting as many companies have deals offered on the weekends as well.

Don't see anyone posted that but yeah Cyber Monday not clear for sure but it says 98% off gtlds is one of the promos so we could see $0.88 .com's again but I think quantity limit is 1 like it was last time (I tried adding more then 1 to cart to double check and only 1 .com was discounted on Friday). Cyber Monday 2 days here we come.

I'm not sure I'll even bother - I have better things to do than get frustrated because their crappy website (recapcha) prevent me wasting a few $1 to get mostly worthless reg fee domains

I am not absolutely sure but I am pretty sure the offers are unique to the account that got the coupon. That is why you have to be signed in to get them.

I agree with @vravis9 that, at least based on last year's coupon based sale at Namecheap, Cyber Monday is considered a new event and when a similar offer is made to the one on Black Friday you can now get one again.

I am not absolutely sure but I am pretty sure the offers are unique to the account that got the coupon. That is why you have to be signed in to get them.
