Just wondering what the general thoughts are about whether the recent trend to legalize marijuana will boost the prices of pot-related domains?

Elixinol Global 'only company in the sector to list a profit'

Elixinol Global Ltd (ASX:EXL) executive director & CEO Paul Benhaim speaks to Proactive Investors about the cannabis group of companies’ business sectors and suite of hemp-based foods, supplements and medicinal oil products.

The group’s portfolio comprises three main divisions: Elixinol USA focused on dietary supplements; Hemp Foods Australia selling food products; and Elixinol Australia, the new start-up focused on medicinal cannabis.

“Elixinol Global listed in January this year on the ASX and we did that to raise about $20 million which was a highly oversubscribed listing,” Benhaim says.

He continues, “those funds were intended to be used on the medical cannabis business start-up in Australia … that business has applied for licences with the Office of Drug Control, which we’re currently waiting for.”

Recently announced half-year results show Elixinol Global grew over 110% on the prior period, with first-half revenue of $14.9 million.

Honestly, I think your store will struggle with either. There are far better names out there. Stick to the aftermarket as much as possible, and be extremely reserved and selective with handregs...IMO.

I mean sure if the name was wdopidwwojqwd.com I agree, but the name is somehow related to the topic

The name has the greatest impact, or lack thereof, in this case...a weak name and you'll go broke on promotion, or likely bleed traffic to the singular.

Far better names out there for a quality store of affiliate product sales...IMO.

Thanks for your opinion. I mean I don't disagree with you, you definitely have a point here. But I have had other stores with much worse names which performed pretty well when promoted properly.

Anyways, time will tell.

HerbalUser would be my choice. More generic of a name,,you could offer a wider range of products.

If you're planning to promote it with adwords... why not try a good "EMD New gTLD name" for your Store... it might save you some advertising money.
What exactly are you planning on selling... Pipes/Vapes or Grow Equipment ?

Nice Idea, will be thinking about that for sure!

And yea I will offer more pipes and grinders and that stuff. But maybe even growing equipment.

First step will be building a community before even trying to sell stuff.

Sounds catchy especially with a question mark next to it (like Wanna Recover?) but I'd rather stick with only a couple of hemp related domains and see how it goes from here.

I'd agree, but most all domains these days seem to be a "play on words". Like "juana" possibly standing for "wanna" or "canna" standing for "can of", there are so many games you can play with words and domains. I didn't register JuanaRecover, but I did register "WordPlayDomains" after studying the make up of domains. btw, did you know that wordplay is one word unlike child play that's two words?

This said, i did register two domains a few minutes ago; ForeverCanna(.)com which led to ForeverCures(.)com (see reg of the the day). Both of these names I strongly believe are worth the risk of $8.50 per name. If just one of these names were to sell for $1,000, I would realize a gain of over 5,000 percent . Most people don't have the math aptitude to understand any of this....it's all about risk vs.reward
