BREAKING | .top topped .xyz

this is a historical breaking news.
We knowww that 'top' means 'top'. Therefore, the TLD .top can not be topped in it's meaning by anyyy other TLD.

But nowww & todayyy, according to the website http://www.namestat.org the TLD .top topped the TLD .xyz also by it's number of registrations:

.top | 2,615,724 domains registered
.xyz | 2,579,162 domains registered

So nowww the TLD .top currentlyyy has 36,562 domains more registered than the TLD .xyz

Here is a today's screenshot (marked) of the mentioned website which shows these numbers:

As I 'predicted' in past - and as we can seee nowww - the TLD .top is nowww the most registered newww TLD of all newww TLDs.

But I am sure, that this is still just the beginning - because the TLD .top will also top the TLD .com in it's number of registrations one dayyy like it has topped .com in it's meaning since it's first dayyy

What do you think???
How long it will need until .top will top the TLD .com also by it's registration numbers???
You are wwwelcome to share your viewww

All the best with your invest,

Soon the .loan bubble will burst as well. I think we will see a MASSIVE drop.

With that said, .loan might top .top for a while.

10,000 - 20,000 .top names deleted almost every day now. .Xyz is still adding names.

1) .Top has now dropped from #4 to #6 in the number of total regs. My prediction is that also .biz will "pass" .top (again) in a week or two.

2) .Xyz is actually doing MUCH better, It is currently the fastest growing new gTLD again.

Set at least $5 regfee on .xyz and you will see absolutely another results...

Yes, but the drops are kind of low. Many are actually renewing their .xyz for standard rates.

But I agree that the discounted prices is a dominating factor.

.top continues to drop like a rock @KINGOF.TOP
Believe me, I am aware of the current situation - but I see it as a "natural fluctuation" and I am convinced, that .top will raise again soon, everything is always moving.
Simply becasue a 'dropping rock' will land somewhere - just to get more stable than before.

@KINGOF.TOP back on .top again after a temporary ban.

Sounds like a newsline.
Just to made it clear, the temporary ban I got was simply because I wasn't carefully enough and I posted a link to one of my nP sales pages in a discussion thread.
I can understand that this got seen as advertising and I appreciate the nP rules / moderation.

BTW I am also on .top outside nP, so I am not "back on .top again", I am more "still on .top" (for good reasons).

@dordomai What do you think - when will .top top .xyz again?

I don't know. Not looking good ATM. Maybe they need another promo?

But then isn't .top always on to regardless of the number of regs?

"I don't know" is a good answer.
Not good looking? If I compare .top with other TLDs, it is looking good (top).

I don't see any "promo" - so what you mean with "another promo"?

Of course, you are right, .top is top - regardless how many .top domains are registered.
Even if there would not a single .top domain registered, .top would be top, yes.

.Top gained +10K names today. It will be interesting to see if this was a temporary increase, or if it will continue for a while...

According to NAMESTAT, from this +10k are about

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 50 % from China,
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 25 % from United States,
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 20 % from Germany,

the rest are other countries.

BTʬʬʬ

I
1 % from Sweden ;) So which .top domain(s) have you registered, @Fancy.domains ?

I see.
So even "without you", Sweden starts (continues) upgrading to .top
No. Sweden prefers .SE and .NU. The .TOP gTLD is a Chinese market gTLD with little activity outside that market. It may see a lot of deletions as the discounted domains that it used to catch up with .XYZ will drop.

Sure, at this time Sweden yet prefers .se & .nu (like other countries prefer their ccTLD) - but I wrote "starts".

The TLD
.top was made to rule the world one day and that's what wil happen after the majority starts realizing that .com / ... / .xyz is far faar faaar belowww .top
So it may take a while - but I believe, that @ some point in the future, also Sweden etc. will be dominted by the .top TLD.

The chinese market is one of the biggest - so if .top can handle one of the biggest markets already, it can handle other markets as well.

.xyz is a great TLD but it will be in the shadow of .top soon.
Like any other TLD @ some point.

This .top obsession is going to end badly for you, I believe.

You can believe in the "negative", I can (yes I can) believe in the "positive".
Also, your believe is a "misjudgment" in my eyes - it's not an "obsession"
(although I admit that it may look like so) - it's more the dealing with the new domain realityyy

The new domain reality is that average aftermarket prices are surely trending down for all TLDs...
This year I receive very lowball offers even from the USA... never had such bids previously.

the answer would probably be .top is already on top and can never go down
