Apart from domaining and your regular job, How do you guys make money on the side?

The regular job can help us normal/ordinary people survive the day but to live a slightly better life or save for a vacation or to pay the loans and things like that, we gotta hustle to make some extra money on the side (unless you're already a millionaire).

Though most of us are already domaining part-time, sometimes it's just not enough and we need to keep the door open for more.
I used to draw portraits and sketches for the folks over Instagram. What started as a thing just to impress girls started bringing cash in exchange of portraits. One of the guys I know used to peddle weed & stuff to make some extra dough. Luckily he was able to quit before ending up in jail. :)
But that was all when I was in college. Before domaining. Before I had a shi**y job.

So what do you guys do extra to make that extra?

Is it investing (in Gold or Cryptocurrencies etc.)? Affiliate Marketing? Online Tutoring? Pizza Delivering?
Or some corny stuff like Mystery Shopping, Professional Cuddling or Selling Your Body, literally.

Would be great to know your story.
Peace.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I think for many here, domaining is their side job!

I'm retired, so everything is "on the side". Right now I'm looking at casino promotions, but I'd probably make more by clearing my garage by selling the stuff in it. :)

I have a rabbit farm/turkey ND quail farm as my side job

Domaining is the only thing I do.. I don't need vacations, loans and I can survive with very little, say $200 per month is enough for me. So I don't need anything other than domaining.

No wife, no children.
I'm just 24 years old and living in South East Asian, where you can live well with $200/ month.
I have a full-time job in a Domain Ventures Company. And i spend the rest of my day for Domain Investing. So totally domaining is my life ( 14-15 hours/ day).
I work when people sleep, and i sleep when people work.
People sometimes ask me What my job is, and I just say "porn".
I decided to live like a domainer this year. And my plan is to spend 2-3 years to create my own portfolio.
When i get enough capital from domainining profit , i will invest in Stocks, cryptocurrencies, then Real Estate.
But now, i spend all of my time and money to domains. :punch:

Domaining is just a part time "job" for me, hopefully, one day will be a full time and I can call myself a "domainer" for the moment I'm in transport and logistics sector.... not that bad, but I'm getting bored.... and don't feel that this is my future.

I will be happy to spend a day with you, but let's stop spamming this thread.

I used to worked in CMA-CGM, then moved on the smaller Forwarder Company.
Both works were really really boring to me :shy:

When I come across a large collection of Magic The Gathering cards on Kijiji (classified ads in Canada), I buy it at a price I know I can immediately resell it for a profit. People willing to sell their whole collection usually want to make space, they don't play anymore and need money quickly and don't display their best items. They don't take the time to create a true good ad to maximize the collection value. I do. I get the most of the collection. Its not rare I buy a collection for $800-$1000 and resell for $1600-$1800 within a week.

Magic The Gathering cards are a gold mine. I am pretty sure its the same with Pokemon but I don't know the cards at all.

I do the same with Funko Pop. They sell very well so when someone in my area is selling one for cheap, I make an offer at a price I know I can immediately resell on eBay for a profit. No risk. But that is a much smaller profit. Sometimes only $20-$30. But its better then nothing.

--

Sometimes the opportunities are not there and I can be months without finding something worthy of a flip. But its a good way to make a bit of cash here and there.

I am a webmaster, I create lot of shit site, then try to trick Google, sometimes on some of my site get skipped from Google algo update then I flip it for $300 to $500. Not even a good domainer only two sales in my 9 to 10 month old career.

Don't knew what is domaining? Can anybody explain it?

Wait somewhere I found it's called pigeon shit. Is it correct!

Nice approach. Wish you luck with that.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Cards always remain popular among serious collectors. Made some nice money back in the day selling Pokemon cards I've collected when I was a kid. :)

I run a website privately and expose shady businesses and online scams.
Get paid by Google Adsense for this site and also for my Youtube channel, where I posted a random video taken from my mobile which has got around 6.5 million views and counting.
I know proper SEO and a little web designing by wordpress or Godaddy website builder which supports my income sometimes.
Want to be a full time domainer someday..!!

I have a person for you! His name is JARED BURNUP AKA BASEBALLWORLD on name pros

I meant, do you uncover scams on NamePros as well?
No, the scams are unrelated to domaining. I mostly cover scam online jobs and fake e-commerce, health products, etc.
Moreover, do these privately. Don't want anyone to avenge me in any way as most of the times the scamstars are millionaires.
I just ruin their game with negative SEO. They hire big Online Reputation Companies. Just love the game..!!
