I am thinking of trying https://www.efty.com/

I'm wondering if I can get some pros and cons from members.

I have almost 300 domains so these some of the items I would like to discuss before signing up.

1. Getting the information in via excel seems to be the best option, is that correct?

2. Do I have to transfer the domain to efty or just change nameservers?

3. If I only change name servers then I have added more work because I have to maintain dates and prices in efty plus watch my registrar.

4. They seem to be in bed with Escrow and the buy now function looks like it depends on that. Is there another way to do buy now? I have my own payment processing machine and I use it or bank transfers.

5. Are there any other costs other than the quoted monthly fee.

6. Even using the excel spread sheet it looks like an awful lot of work to get everything in when there are 300 domains involved. Is it worth the time and effort on top of information already supplied by my registrar?

7. Is there a similar service and how do their tools compare?

8. Uniregistry looks like it may have similar services and ultimately it would be easier to manage the domains right from the registrar but I'm not hot on paying a 15% commission on sales. Discuss Uniregistry advantages if any.

Just tested domain landing page load times at Efty and they are still ridiculously slow and now it is beyond unacceptable. We are talking snails pace loading times as of today the 1st of August.

I am now DONE with Efty. That's $84 dollars down the drain.

Can someone please suggest alternative, fast landers ? (even if it is a wordpress site, i'll take it, anything will be faster than efty) I am not keen on Undeveloped (15% commission is a major put off) and Uniregistry, despite fast load times is not great.

I know now, that usp means unique selling point. The area where we can add suggestions to make our premium names even more desirable. I use indrp1 template mostly, and was wondering if it was possible to put the domain usp's on those forms? They can also be used for other reasons than selling, and I feel this would be beneficial.
Anyone else use the indrp or udrp and feel this would be a plus?

Doron absolutely fantastic! The load times are near instant. Sorry for my previous frustration but this was an important issue.

I want to thank you for sorting this and I'm now a very happy Efty customer again.

I just have a few suggestions which would also be great:

1. As I mentioned earlier would it be possible to condense the UDRP themes so that for any domain with more than 14 characters when viewing in mobile browsers the page isn't stretched or all over the place? The domain name is also cut off after the first 14 or so character's. This prevents me from using the theme for some of my domains. It doesn't affect desktop or laptops but only on mobile phone viewing? Both on chrome and IE browsers on mobile phones.

2. I guess you are working on revamping the user control panel? There is no logout button when viewing the Efty user portal on desktop so you have to switch back to mobile view to find the signout button.

3. Will there be more themes added for make offer page? The current themes such as North, kiffer etc are all fine but a few more would be nice.

4. I know for UDRP themes the user isn't forced to make an offer and can submit an inquiry/message. Can you redo a few make offer themes and leave out the Make offer box and make offer message but leave the usual text and bullet points that we have on make offer pagee? This would be good.

5. Do all inquiries for Domains delete after 30 days? I've noticed that they do. This isn't a major issue.

All in all I'm delighted and happy again with Efty. Thanks Doron.

Completely agree and I've also mentioned this in my previous post.

My issue with UDRP themes is that I can't use them for my Domains which are 14 characters or more as when viewing landing page on a mobile phone it stretches the page all over the place and cuts off all characters after the 14th of the domain name. On desktop it's fine. Would love to see this resolved somehow.

Newly added domains should be added to the zone file within an hour. Can you please email me the domains (or a couple of them) to [email protected] and I will look into this for you right away.

I'll get back to everyone else's suggestions and comments tomorrow. Since we just made some big name server changes we're still quite busy monitoring that as we like to make sure everything is stable.

I definitely feel that a make inquiry (and not make offer) theme/option is needed which just asks for the potential buyers name and email without the need for an offer but allows the "This domain is for sale" text and bullet points etc. And then a "submit inquiry" box at the top of the form.

I'm delighted to see everyone is reporting significantly faster load times. I'll do my best to respond to some recent questions and suggestions below.

Doron few things I'd suggest...

1) Improve load times of landers (most important)
2) 404 redirect to index so no wasted traffic from old backlinks, I use htacess for this on my own pages
3) Reword offer forms and make it universal across all templates, seeing variations based on template used, personally I use...
Domain Name Offer (USD $)
First And Last Name
Email Address
Phone Number
Message (optional)
4)editable footer in bulk? allowing people to add a few text links or banner links to their own sites or affiliate programs in footer

Could ramble more (which I'm known for) on other possible additions but these 4 things are the main reason I do my own pages on my own server as lightning fast loading time, no wasted traffic, offer forms exactly the way I want them phrased and hundreds of backlinks to my other developed sites in footer, with that said I really dig Efty just a case of so close to perfection just not 100% there yet, if it gets there someday maybe I unplug one of my servers and move over, alternatively drink a few beers and hand me a login and I'll build it like it's only for me.

So I'd focus on landing page tweaks/quick loading times first as adding more market features doesn't really help if loading time scares people away from the service.

I'm checking with our development team to see how we can prioritize 404 redirects on our roadmap. I agree this should be looked at. In an ideal world, each element of the landing page is fully customizable and I'm sure it will be at some point in the future. We make the message field mandatory and personally I think this is the right thing to do because it forces potential buyers to reveal slightly more information about themselves or their business.

1. I'll check and will see if we can fix this.
2. There's a Sign Out link in the drop down menu in the top right corner (left of the search box).
3. I'm confident we will be adding some more landing pages themes in the future. We have a ton of feedback, wishes, and suggestions based on the current themes so we will be using that feedback to create some more themes in the near future.
4. As I mentioned above I believe the ideal solution would be a fully customizable form. It's not workable to create a theme for each and every wish a user has so you can expect us to work towards a solution in which you can basically edit each element of each landing page yourself in the future.
4. No, but we did a large database upgrade last week which might have resulted in some inquiries "missing" for a short period. You should see all of them in your account now.

The only problem i have with efty is powered by Efty at the bottom. i think they should have option to remove that from user sites. i wouldn't mind paying little extra for that.

If and when you solve the UDRP themes cutting off and stretching 14+characters domains names when viewed on mobile phones do let me know as I have a few domain names from 16 to 22 characters that I would like to use those themes for. I dont know if you may need to reduce font or image sizes to do this.

I checked another. Same thing. And another. Again, Time Warner.

Turns out every domain I checked is down.

And these are all parked with Efty. Not only that they were working and showing Efty landing page for days before this.

Hi Seven, can you try again and let me know if you're still experiencing issues? For me, http://www.zaproperty.com/ is resolving your Efty landing page. The Time Warner pages seem like some sort of (spammy) plugin from your ISP.
