The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
My own portfolio is small. I sold most of the better ones in it. I think I have around 40 published and 150-200 accepted at the moment.

My sale for FDG/E did not close. It was a fraudulent charge. I think that's the second 4L sale that did not close recently.

That sucks. I hope the second sale (the domain I used to own) will close. I'm pretty sure you'll sell fdg/e sooner or later.

Looks like another one of my ex names just sold at BB. Where's my time machine? :)

Music//crowd was yours? I would have def purchased that from you if I saw it.

No, not that one. One of the other ones. I would just say the name, but I don't know if that's appropriate since these aren't my names anymore.

Just a heads up to everyone.......

DNbolts' daily scraping of BB's website doesn't always give an accurate picture of BB sales. I have made sales in the past 6 months that have never appeared on the DNbolt list. Several other BB sellers have told me the same thing.

Also I can tell you first hand that I've had several domains delisted and relisted due to nameserver or registrar issues, logo issues, domain mispellings etc. So when that happens it doesn't mean the "deal did not close." In many cases it just means DNbolt reported a false sale based on unconfirmed data.

I enjoy DNbolt's website and his lists have value. But in my estimation they are only about 80% accurate. So keep that in mind when making business decisions.

May all your sales be to end users!

Keith
I secons this. L2 Media in June sold 4 names but He reported only two then I reminded him and the seller confirmed and he updated his stats.

Another thing that is impossible to.get is the actual sale price as sometimes a 5 or 10 % discount.can be given and no.way Dnbolt can know.this :)

Hi Abdullah, what Sir Keith is trying to say is my list is not complete or accurate with no PROOF till this day and the case of L2 Media is different. The four domain sales of L2 Media were posted as sold but I failed to classify 2 domains as his due to some minor glitches. About price, Brandbucket has already mentioned that the price difference are only as little as 2%

I get it but It is very hard to know. Imagine I have a name with price 2295 and I set in my control panel 10% discount. How can your system know if such discount is usef and exercised? If that discoun is used then the price you will list which is 2295 will not be correct as it willbe short of 229.50 :)

This is what I am talking about.

Really sorry to hear that. What did BB say? I'm assuming they did advise you of a sale then had to explain why it didn't go through?

In that case it wouldn't really be an issue. The goal is to know which domain sold and the price mark, it's date of sale and reg date. Only few would have discounts. :)

With almost 39K names and God only knows how many sales and sallers, I am afraid it is very difficult to get to the conclusion "few would have discounts" cause , simply, it is impossible to know unless , the seller discloses such info

Hi Abdullah, let us address some of the concerns you may have.

If you read throughout my sales report in the blog you will notice that the average sales per month are approximately 80.

And in the begin of the year brandbucket has it's newsletter which states this:
January.PNG

You can see that the 3rd party reporting strongly correlates with brandbucket's official newsletter. At some point in my sales reporting you will also find that I mentioeed that brandbucket has sales coming from approximately 50 sellers. You can see we have some connections going on here.

I know what you will thinking now so I decided to attach another clip of newsletter
August sales.PNG

With this we are sure that brandbucket has sales generated from approximately 50 out of 1000 users right? But how do I know they have ~1,000 uses? Well let's leave that question for another time.

What does Brandbucket has to say about the sales price?

It makes absolutely ZERO difference if a name sells for $2,295 or $2,066. The key to the data is knowing what type of name sold and what price range it sold for. I could understand what you're saying if @Dnbolt listed XXXXX.com name sold for between $2,000-$5,000. That would be a ridiculous stat.

Interesting... But in some countries queen are regarded as a stronger image.

Here in the US, it's common to see stores called Discount King, Bottle King (liquor), Mattress King, but I can't think of any _____ Queen stores off the top of my head. I'm sure there are a few but far between.

Women will shop at a store called ____ King but men might get halted by an invisible force before they can cross the threshold of Discount Queen lol.

The top U.S. based company would be Dairy Queen at 5 billion dollars in annual sales with almost 5000 stores nationwide.

Ahh can always count on @hookbox for another angle on things.

Dairy Queen totally slipped my mind. Good example. It's a household name here owned by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway.

Looks like there are a lot of men in that line.

@Dnbolt The daily bb newly published domains is useful but do you think some sellers can frown at you?
