Everything has its pros and cons, your question is too relative.

If you should have any questions regarding german(-language based) domains, you can write me anytime or just can ask here.

How do you say autonomous car in German?

[...]s auto = singular
[...] autos = plural

translations:

fahrerlosesauto.de
fahrerloseautos.de
führerlosesauto.de
fuehrerlosesauto.de
führerloseautos.de
fuehrerloseautos.de

selbstfahrendesauto.de
selbstfahrendeautos.de
fahrerloses-auto.de
fahrerlose-autos.de
führerloses-auto.de
fuehrerloses-auto.de
führerlose-autos.de
fuehrerlose-autos.de

selbstfahrendes-auto.de
selbstfahrende-autos.de

These are all taken as .DE versions, except for the fuehrer/führer ones, which is a biased word in Germany, therefore not popular.

It is correct for "autonomous driving", but like many German words it has multiple meanings.

selbstfahrendesauto.de
selbstfahrendeautos.de
Just stumbled on this thread. I have the .com of these, including the hyphenated versions.
I'm surprised they were still available considering your informative post.
Did you consider registering any yourself?

Hello. I asked this question in the Virtual Reality Thread and got no answer. I found this thread and figured why not ask here?

so here goes.

Seems as though keyword "virtual" only works for the .de market if the domain starts with it.

No sales of "virtual" where "virtual" is at the end in .de. why is that?

Cultural? Proper German grammar?

Same thing with VR+keyword combos in .de

All taken but none of the reverse. How come?

Whoever answers is helping the group thanks.

also what about .DE vs .Com for the German market?

and then also is there value in this combo?

German Word + English(and reverse) word ? is this German Acceptable? any sales that shows this is something acceptable to the German public?

5gstore.de

damn that's a good one. you beat me too it! lol I see 3gStore.de sold for over$180K and that was in 2011.

and I just took the Plural version! 5GStores.de

I'll take 10% of that $180K. I'm not greedy. lol

As we are talking about .de domains, is there a way to know for how long a domain is registered / when it will drop?

It seems like the whois only indicates last time something has changed in the records..

valutakurser.de (Translates to: Exchange Rates)

valutakurser.de (Translates to: Exchange Rates)
Hate to be a party pooper, but I am pretty confident Valutakurser is not the German word or expression for exchange rates. In German exchange rates translates to:
  • Wechselkurse
  • Umrechnungkurse
  • Devisenkurse
  • Währungskurse
Think you might have mistakenly mixed it up with Danish or Swedish.
