I am still wondering who are such buyers and why do they buy such names?

One of my family members bought this domain.
You can 100 % be sure that this was a real purchase / sale ;)
And I was not the previous owner before he bought it.
Why did you your relative buy 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.com ?

Hmmm... ...I presume, to sell it with a good ROI someday ;)

Ok, nowww I will show you / the world the highest possible digit domain:

As I said (wrote) earlier, the domain
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.top (63 digits)
is the highest possible number which can be written in a domain name plus it is completed with the TLD .top in this case - so it's the highest possible digit domain.

But, there is indeed one possibility, how it can be increased.
More, it even can be increased in an 'incalculable', because eternal, way.

Watch out nowww my next post here in this thread will be
the highest possible digit domain.

He is forwarding 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.com to comcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcomcom.com.

I assume it is you who have convinced him to start buying 63 letter domains?

AND HERE IT IS

999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.plus

It is like
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999+
and this clearly means an 'undefined amount more' than
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999

Beside the mentioned (defined) 999... ...9.top this is the highest possible, because 'eternal', digit domain which can exist.

Yes, currently forwarding.

That's not important.
What counts at the end is the moneyyy

And this must always be in .plus ;)

Referring to the term 'plus', these seconds I registered this one:

plusplusplusplusplusplusplusplusplusplusplusplusplusplusplus.plus
15 times plus / TLD .plus

This domain contains the highest possible number of plus while it ends with the TLD .plus at the same time.
This domain is the biggest 'shield' against minus.
Plus, 'plus' means 'plus' in many languages - like top.

I’m just wondering why, when the sale was first announced, you pretended that you did not know the details behind the sale:

“Seems that there is something big going on behind the daily business.”

“Smart move / domain, indeed.”

And you claimed that:

“Every 63.DOMAIN sale helps indirectly also all those which are also owning / offering a 63.DOMAIN for sale.
63.DOMAINS are the 'highest possible niche’.”

However, after @dordomai revealed that:

“WHOIS shows an address that is the same as the one listed in Kingof.top domains WHOIS.”

You replied that:

“One of my family members bought this domain.”

So you were trying to say that this sale will have a positive impact on the “63 letter domains” niche, including all of your own 63 letter domains, when in fact you knew it was your relative who bought the domain? That's misleading, and I don't understand what you and your brother/nephew/uncle are trying to achieve here.

“Seems that there is something big going on behind the daily business.”

This was a general statement which is based on the fact that this sale is very uncommon, at least yet.
I can guarantee you that the first time I heard from this sale was here at nP by @Arpit131's opening post.

“Smart move / domain, indeed.”

Here I referred to @HotKey's domain
999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.one
which he obviously (WHOIS) registered (as reaction?) on the same day when this thread started.
Again, this domain is a smart domain / reaction.

And you claimed that:

“Every 63.DOMAIN sale helps indirectly also all those which are also owning / offering a 63.DOMAIN for sale.
63.DOMAINS are the 'highest possible niche’.”

Yes, and?
Thats fact and I think thats understandable.
Like every .whatever sale helps every .whatever domainer and like every domain sale helps every domainer indirect.
Yes, 63.DOMAINS are indeed the 'highest possible niche'.

However, after @dordomai revealed that:

“WHOIS shows an address that is the same as the one listed in Kingof.top domains WHOIS.”

You replied that:

“One of my family members bought this domain.”

Yes, my reply was just minutes after I realized that one of my family members bought it.

So you were trying to say that this sale will have a positive impact on the “63 letter domains” niche, including all of your own 63 letter domains, when in fact you knew it was your relative who bought the domain? That's misleading, and I don't understand what you and your brother/nephew/uncle are trying to achieve here.

I am not 'trying to say' anything, I say what I say.
It more seems like you are trying to say something, I don't know what you want to say at the end.
It's good to be critical, but you can be sure, these are the facts.
And I say it again - I am convinced, that this sale will have a positive Impact on 63.DOMAINS, yes including also my owns of course.
It doesnt make any difference who sold / bought a domain when the deal is real.
And this deal was real*.

HISTORY

> The buyer paid the sum to the seller.
> A nP member noticed that GD deal (before I noticed it) and opened a nP thread about it.
> And I noticed his thread.
> And react to it.
> Like you.

*Like me, I am real too. And 63.DOMAINS are real too.

What I (I am I) want to 'achieve' (to use your term) here, is, that other domainers, in this case you, stay open minded to 63.DOMAINS - but don't feel 'misleaded' (?) - you are free to follow or not.
If 63.DOMAINS and related sales are to heavy / shocking for you, you should stay away from them.
63.DOMAINS are JUST ANOTHER LEVEL in my eyes.
As I said, there is something going on behind the daily biz.

Your family member buying a 63 letter domain does not have any implications for this niche. It just means that there are two 63 letter domain investors in your household. It is not the sign of a broader trend, since your relative bought it because you have influenced him to start investing in 63 letter domains.

What I was pointing out above, is that that your family member buying a domain with 63 letters, and you hyping it up as being a big deal for the 63 letter domain niche (even though you knew it was bought by your relative), is rather questionable.

There are many 63 character domain owned by complete foreign domainers, worldwide.
It was not the first sale of a 63 character domain name.
And it will not be the last one ;)

Sry, but what you are saying ('influenced him') is just your theory.

I was not hyping it up.
I even was not starting this thread.
But, as an owner of many 63.DOMAINS, I naturally react to it.
And, again, I realized that it was bought by a member of my family* at the time I start reading this thread.

* And? So what?
It doesn't make any difference.
Deal is deal and a 63 character domain deal is a 63 character domain deal.
At the end I have NOTHING to do with this deal - it's just a great thing for me and for all who own / offer 63.DOMAINS

It is just a record; it could be written in the guinness book of record of domainers that someone bought the longest domain ever. Period.

Has there been any other 63 letter domain sales recorded in the past?

Nonsense.
There is no 'one longest' domain.
There are a Limit of 63 characters - so there are many 'longest'.

According to namebio, this is the first and only 63 letter domain sale to date.
I see, thx - but at the other side, it is said, that the most sales are private / not reported - so I am sure there are more.
Also, namebio is just one platform which publish sales.
I think, SEDO can help too ;)

Lets not make assumptions about past sales, when there is nothing to back up these assumption. Due to the absence 63 letter domains on namebio, this stands as the first and largest 63 letter domain sale to date.

What's his asking price for 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999.com?

There will 100 % be higher sales.
I see this deal just as a 'beginning' of a radical 'change' in domaining history (although it has began already).
