Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

VRFrontRow - EventsVR

AltSpaceVR Announces Incredible ‘FrontRow’ Live Event Technology

Just when you think you start to have a pretty good idea of what AltSpaceVR has to offer, they tend to issue an update that debuts a sparkling new feature, such asSlack integration. While this latest update, adequately titled FrontRow, may seem relatively miniscule at first, it’s a bit more nuanced than it looks and a whole lot more impressive than some of the more recent changes.

In a press release that AltSpaceVR provided to UploadVR, Romo explains that:

“FrontRow allows everyone who attends to have a front row seat. Do you want to have a private party and attend the show with just your friends? You can do that. Do you want to enjoy the show just by yourself? You can do that. Do you want to have the traditional public event experience with 50 new friends? You can do that, too.”

http://uploadvr.com/altspacevr-announces-incredible-frontrow-live-event-technology/

We’re pumped to announce FrontRow, a new technology that gives everyone a front row seat to events in VR and gives hosts limitless capacity at their events. With FrontRow, thousands of people can attend an event together despite their geographic location and feel like they are there in person. The technology will debut on May 26th when Reggie Watts will perform live at what is expected to be the largest attended event in VR. RSVP here.

This release could be a game changer for the industry, and opens doors for the use of VR as a communications medium for consumer and business markets. Most experiences today in VR are solitary. Even multiplayer VR games typically include only a small group of 4-6 people. AltspaceVR’s FrontRow makes it possible for thousands of people to experience events together yet be with their friends and just a few feet away from the performer in VR – without leaving their living room.

How is this for a Crystal Ball view...

I have been contemplating that STAR WARS will be the first real full VR Feature Film.

Disney was putting a lot into VR cinematography more than a year before buying the movie franchise.
And I think the deal with Google, iMax and StarBreeze has much to do 'bout that.
I'm sure we will see a bunch of 'short VR films' and 'VR trailers' (like the Martian) to test it out.

In my eyes, they only need to shoot the film in 120 as they would for iMax and CGI the remaining 240.

Just my speculations. But the actions behind the scene seem to point to that.

This once again proves that VR names with dashes are valuable. Cool sale, grats to the seller :)

Queen's Brian May is making a VR viewer to speed the demise of reality
"Ultimately VR will change the world, because you'll be able to build everything that you love and cherish in the virtual world. You'll feel like you can touch and hear and interact with them. VR could advance to the point where you feel a tug, a sort of nostalgia, a feeling that you've lost something, because you've fallen in love with the virtual world. Eventually, I think people won't want to come out."

Excellent sale, indeed. The average hyphenate dot net sale listed on namebio is low-mid xxx. A good indication of how strong the VR market is, especially for short, strong keywords. Congrats to seller!

A dashed vr .net sells for $3k - well that only makes my (and all yours) non-dashed .coms worth a lot more :)

Virtual retirement Florida. Retire in Florida without actually going there. B-)

Nice...

But if you want to check out retirement communities in VR, also look at...

VR retirement
Retirement VR
;)

JMHO, but I think you overstate... This only proves that top-10-kw non-com VR hypenates may have value... (Again, JMHO, but you have a non-dot-com, not top-10-kw VR hyphen name, and you'll probably be sitting on that name 'til the VR sun goes down... B-))

In the book "Ready Player One" the author anticipates this type of "VR Shut-in syndrome" and even gives it a name... (Can't recall it at the moment...:?:)

A lot of folks here have also anticipated this issue, with great names like VR addiction, VR rehab, etc... (Let's hope this doesn't become a widespread problem... It's already hard enough to get the kids to take a break from the electronics and go outside....)

I completely agree! dashes in .com for best keywords may have some future in years ahead... but dashed VR domains .net ... maybe maybe for 5 best keywords.. games definitely was one of them..

I too think big of retirement and VR.. would make good mix! I own:

VRetirement.com
VRetire.com

and yes.. VR addictions may well be common place! :)

maniacVR.com
virtualRealityMania.com

Yeah, I should've been more specific. Dashes in domains with TOP keywords as games, gambling, porn, etc.

When checking top keywords like games - even the VRtual versions are reg'd. Anyone here own the vrtual keywords in .com? I noticed most all of them have been taken whenever I check.
