If you had $10 USD to spend, what would you register? .com, .biz, .org, .net, .co, .info, other?
Why?

Remember, you can register more than 1 if you can afford it.

The OP is asking what we will register if we had $10 to invest, he is not asking advice what he should register. Correct me if I am wrong.

OP Here. Correct. I was not asking for advice. We are getting the varying answers that I was thinking we would get. I'm enjoying this thread and the answers that we are getting.

If I just had $10 to invest, I would invest that money in a value meal and save the $5 for a value meal tomorrow IMO.

I started domaining a few months ago. Since then I have invested only 16$. Now I keep investing from what I have earned from the 6N.com business . In other words I just followed the big guys saying that 6N is the future before anyone else. That's my advice, wait for the next trend ,which will be supported from the big guys buying in bulk. A few months ago I would tell you to Reg a 5L.com, but now almost all of the premiums are gone. If you want to try your luck, go for a chip LLLL.biz or a 5N.co without 4 or 0 , a 3$ investment.

I will buy a dropped 2 word .com which will be easy to sell which have clear meaning !!
If I am thinking to invest 10$ for 3-4 months then will go with buy out trend

Wow... I just have to say this is one of the deepest responses to a "what would you do with $10" post. I was not emotionally ready or expecting it as I read down through. You can't just be dropping philosophical bombs about overall investment strategy in posts about using $10.
... Just sayin'.

As for me, I actually did reg a few LLLL.biz today because, well, why not. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

If he's only got 10 bucks, he needs thorough advice..... he clearly needs quick money or needs to just buy Starbucks as Shane suggested..... lmk when u auction off those LLLL. biz please. Pm me or tag me or something.

I mean, if he's only got $10, I don't think he should be domaining at all... Lunch first, dinner second, domains another day. IMHO, anything you do with just $10 is purely speculative and you better have another $10 next year to renew.

Maybe @CJ6 could tell us if he literally only has $10 to invest... or if he was posing a theoretical challenge trying to discern where folks were looking to put some cash -- like a more creative way of doing the "what buyout is next" post, without saying it that way.

Why on earth would you want to buy domains at auction for $2.50 to $5.00 when no one else wanted to spend more than that? I'm not entirely sure that would be "lucky"..... *That* right there is speculative investing.

I thought it was $10 if it gets accepted? If so, you're over budget.

... Or do you mean get it accepted, but not actually accept the accepting and then flip it while acceptation is pending there?
