From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

The firm seems to be real (Google it); whether or not this particular letter is really from that firm is unknown, at least to those of us who have not received the letter.

This letter would be easy to fake; anyone can impersonate another person.

But gmail has an option where you can check the path of any email ("Show original"); perhaps other email platforms have this option.

You're right, only way to know is by looking at the email header, there's an option in Gmail for doing this (Show original). In this case, it's a legit email which doesn't change anything about the letter... pure BS.

Let me be clear, I didn't fear legal consequences, that has never been my concern, as far as I'm aware I've been dealing only with facts. I feared an attempt to damage my own future web properties.

You and many others have made many valid points since you began responding to this thread. You also unintentionally do harm with your "confident" nature as you stated you have in private.
You see a challenge and without thinking about the actual people who are the victims here you hinder opportunities of advancement. Let me just say I appreciate all the findings and truth you and everyone have shared sometimes that can fall in with "too much info" in a public situation that's just trying to find a resolution.
There's something seriously wrong with those emails. To help those who are actually awaiting compensation and piece of mind I only ask that everyone please stop speculating and let the law complete this fiasco.

I have noticed that several of my post have been deleted. Nothing I posted was meant to be harmful or false information. I posted a image of the attorney and his position. That is public info that anyone can Google.
The reason the law firm info was posted here be me was for everyone to investigate the origins of this scanned and mass emailed letter.

Whether too much info or not, I'm only now interested in talking about my personal correspondence with Adam Dicker's representative, about content I've personally authored, and in that respect the only relevance is whether that info was shared in good faith as being factually correct.

Hi can anyone tell us what rate a Canadian lawyer charges per letter? $150? That's 20 letters so far... and if they have to go through the whole thread itemising posts for each individual poster and sending individual letters quoting them, as Pug requested in his case, that is a lot of lawyer hours to be billed to Dicker.

Actually maybe they only work for Dicker now if he pays in advance and that is why the letters waited till Friday.

Well, this is unfortunate really. if some of those asking for refunds were not entitle-led to, he could have privately or publicly communicated with them and then if they refused or did not agree then take this last step. But to go after people commenting and sharing their opinions , while most of them even used crystal clear examples and proofs, then I think Mr. Adam has handled this pretty bad. The legal letter is written in a way to try to intimidate the receiver(s) and simply hoping that this intimidation bears fruit. But I guess, it did the opposite effect as some people were calling for class action before which is, in my opinion, the last thing someone will want.

Lets not rash to the conclusion that the letter might be fake, I highly doubt it, but I know some people like to fight even when they are wrong.

And I think, my hopes for this to end early and amicably has vanished but still hope it will be settled.

I did in fact decide to start a Go Fund Me campaign to raise capital towards the legal fees and the excess will be used to repay all of Adam's victims.
