You really think the "big guys" and "industry insiders" haven't known about these shenanigans for years? The Godaddy TDNAM scandal was back in 2008, and publicized. They knew. They just went along with the hype and whatever glad-handing enabled them to feed their egos. Perhaps a healthy percentage of them are no better. Perhaps that's where the this type of behavior was learned.

If you have closer look
the price of a domain evaluation is depending on portfolio size
if you don't want a video taped which is promoting you and your domains

Exactly. He's now sorting things out only because the whole thing has exploded in his face. I'm also tired of these people using euphemisms to describe what Adam did (overpromising,underdeliver...). What the f*ck is wrong with you guys. What he did is FRAUD, plain and simple!! I think I'll write Marissa Mayer an email and let her know about the use of her image in this well planned rip-off. She does have the means to get this guy into court unlike many of the victims that came here to speak out the truth.

I doubt that she'll be interested. If her image was still being used, she'd probably just have her lawyers issue a cease and desist order, but since it's already been removed they probably won't care.

This whole debacle came as a surprise to many domainers (mostly new ones I guess). I think people need this thread to ventilate their opinions and try to understand everything (since only a few people know the entire story).

Closing this thread is like trying to brush everything under the carpet imo. This is what forums are ment for. Talk about stuff that have impact for the entire industry.

Does anyone know how to contact the Canadian version of the IRS? I would guess that a person with a non-existent or, at best, messy bookkeeping system combined with a non-existent or, at best, loose code of ethics and a blatant disregard for the law would be a prime candidate for a tax audit. I would not be surprised if that was the next big shoe to drop in this guy's story.

I wouldn't be surprised either. I remember him talking on DS about how easy was for anyone to go offshore to bypass... restrictions.

I'm not sure I agree. What would have been lost if that piece of information had been left out? The fact that Adam was dropped from Domain Sherpa adds nothing to the weight of the complaints from the actual victims. I think those claims could have stood on their own.
