Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Any offers/sales to report?

Kindly declined a $100 offer for vrdio.com and a $50 offer for BounceVR.com.

Also got a $10 offer for ElseVR.com. Didn't bother replying though.

I'm in India so, I can't post often or check the news and all that but, I look forward to more activity in the VR area.

Cheers and good luck to all!

This one goes out to my "Mobile VR" prospectors:

"It will take several years to answer the question if VR will fulfill its promise of a becoming mainstream. One thing that is certain is that mobile VR is going to be the mainstream access point for consumers. Mobile VR will drive VR in volume, VR content, and overall VR revenue for all but the most committed gamers, whose needs will be met by Facebook Oculus, Sony Morpheus, and HTC -Valve among others and whose price points are likely $499 and above. The mobile VR market is less defined. Google Cardboard is currently selling for $10 and is well, made of cardboard. While it is designed to work with most Smartphones, it is a DIY device, really targeted at developers. Samsung Galaxy Gear VR runs $200 and is designed to run on the Oculus SDK. Its major drawback? It only works with Samsung devices. The mobile VR market is still wide open, and one company in particular is working to solve some of these and VR’s challenges, a company called IonVR."

All bold, underlining and italics were done by me. Just a little quote from Forbes!

This term is going to be normally said, as this will be the only way to describe "Mobile VR" like ... "Where's your mobile VR set?"

Don't know why I didn't think of this before, I have even studied japanese, but I thought of it now so... :)

Picked up all the various japanese writing systems. Having struggled with this myself I think it would be flippin sweet to have a VR learning environment for this stuff:

KanjiVR
HiraganaVR
KatakanaVR
KanaVR

And the reverse for all of them.

Kindly declined a $100 offer for vrdio.com

HXP, jmho, but if I were in your shoes, I'd hang on to VRdio -- it's way too early to tell, but this could become "the" common reference for VR-radio and be worth some nice bucks down the road... (Assuming this is where you were going with this name...VR+radio)

Relatedly, I'm holding a similar blended brandable - VRdeos - for VR+videos... (FYI, there's already a company in Santa Monica, with some significant venture capital behind them, trying to become the "YouTube" of VR - They are using the name "VRideo." http://www.vrideo.com/ LA Times coverage http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-virtual-reality-los-angeles-20150531-story.html#page=1)

A trip to McDonalds here in the U.S. will cost you more than $10, that's a petty terrible offer on their part.
Some Of The Most Interesting VR Technology May Have Not Even Been At E3

'IonVR' another [space kw] + VR. Ion isn't exclusively a space term, but it is used a lot in space. It's just interesting that this seems to be the trend that startups are following.
